I regret to inform the members that every indication is that Scores has closely definitively. The bar signs have been replaced with for sale signs and there is no response from management.

In any event, it is unlikely that it will reopen in time for the Superbowl, or to accommodate anyone who has booked a hotel reservation.

My recommendation is that anyone who has booked a hotel reservation, make other arrangements as soon as possible. We are now in high season, and it will be very difficult to find a suitable hotel room for the upcoming Superbowl weekend. Please do not plan to arrive in San Jose, and find accommodations without a reservation or that Scores will somehow help you make other arrangements.

although basically correct about hotel rooms....very difficult to find a suitable hotel room for the upcoming Superbowl weekend is far from correct.

there are (so I hear 1200) rooms available in the immediate downtown area and the SL, DR, ML, Amistad etc probably account for 250 at best. Have no fear there are plenty of rooms with in a 10 minute walk or a $2 cab ride to Downtown Central

Chilimike, I think the important part of Admin's statement is "suitable hotel room". Yes, there are many rooms, but how many guys want to stay in those other hotels?

I guess it depends how much interest you put in your hotel room. If a five minute walk isn't worth more pu*sy then you've had in the last decade...well stay home and enjoy the snow and wind and watch the game on your 24 inch tube tv.

(ps. not directed at you GDJ) that would be the universal you
