Stayed there many times - was one of the best properties in Jaco - tended to go downhill a little - frankly, I thought the place had been sold and was owned by the Delrey folks - but I could be wrong; could be another property.
When asking about a properties chica friendliness, its not enough to simply ask if they permit guests - you have to ask if there is a fee, and if so how much - b/c I seem to remember Canciones had one.
In San Jose, for example, the Holiday Inn permits guests, but at a fee of $75 per - plus tax

- the Sleep Inn charges like $35 per guest - so if each property answered they permit guests, they would be truthful, but guilty of the "sin of omission" - but the fees suggest they don't welcome guests.
While I'm on the subject of "guest fees" its truly an annoyance - and a nusance to pay it - what possible purpose other than to gouge the guest does it serve - the hour (and lets face it - for most of you guys, its likely a lot less time

) she is there does not cost the hotel a dime - it started with charging a hotel guest a telephone fee for the privdledge of using the phone equipment, now it comes to $25 a day "resort fees"
