Which MP is better Relax or Idem? I haven't been to either one so I'm looking for some good advice.

I'm sure that you will get a lot of different opinions but here is mine.

Both places are a lot of fun and are directly across from each other so it is very easy to quickly check out both places.

To me the biggest difference is, "you get what you pay for." Relax is a great bargain mp. For what you pay there is quality (and fun) there.

However, Idem is more expensive and it shows. There lineup, IMHO, is so much better. More hot chicas and more to pick from.

So, it is all up to you.

FYI, the place that seems to be a cross between the 2, hot chicas for a great bargain price = Mension JMHO

I took two new guys to Relax and IDEM last week. They ended up sessioning between them 3 times in 6 hours, each.

Their impression seemed to be that Relax had a better overall deal, but they felt that IDEM had younger chicas. We didn't discuss this until later that evening, so I wasn't able to return to get my own opinion.

Due to the higher cost at IDEM, I seldom ever enter there. I prefer Zona and Scores for the cost. But I will check it out more frequently on subsequent trips.

What does IDEM cost ? In the oooooold days they were about the same as everybody else, just dirty rooms. Are their rooms clean now ?

I haven't been to Idem for over a year. The cost was 36k and the rooms were okay. I don't think it's better than other places like Relax or 360. I did session with a chica who later became a T.O.M. She doesn't work there anymore

I was in both places in the last week. Idem rooms have not changed in almost 20 years. In other words not much if any different nor better than Relax. The day I was there 3 of the chicas were former Relax chicas who could not compete with the other chicas at Relax. The difference in the over-all quality is a couple of things--First at Idem they are shown how to dress, act (in the bar area), how to do their make-up, and to not talk to the customers unless he gives her an indication he is interested. Secondly, is the PRECEIVED better quality because of the higher price. Many years ago when I was in a service type business one of the leading people in the business told me to charge twice or, even better, three times as much as my competition and I would have more business than the completion!! I was not necessarily any better than many others but with-in a month I had twice the number of customers.

Both places, as is the case in ALL places have a large turn over. My recommendation is to check out both places and check out as many others as you can. MPs here run from M&S Girls, VIP Club, and Roxans at $100 or so to Idem, NF, Zona2, Scores, Pirate in the $50 -$75 range, to Relax, 360, la mansion, KamaSutra, and many more in the $30-$45 range, to the low rent places--the 4 on calle 6!! Check out the Google map for locations, prices, and picture of the location of all the MPs.

It all depends on what you can afford to spend, what you want to spend, and what you need to spend to be happy (the perceived quality syndrome). They all run from very clean to very dirty and price has nothing or very little to do with it. Roxans rooms are little if any different than Relax. Hell Casa Portuguesa (one of the calle 6 places) has some of the cleanest rooms (with baths) of any of the places.

In my opinion, and speaking solely in terms of over all looks, you have to go to the really hi-end places to see a lot of difference in looks in the chicas. Hell right now one of the hottest looking (in my eyes and everyone has a different set of eyes) chicas in the business is Michelle (just turned 19, great slender but great shaped body, and a beautiful face) is at relax. At the same time, one of the ugliest chicas I know is also at Relax.

And do not even get me started on attitude and quality of service which has nothing to do with where she is working and everything to do with how much you enjoy the "experience"!!

Do you ever check out Oasis anymore ? Back in the ancient days of 2007 thru 2009 it was a favorite of mine, I lived and worked in Sabana and would often walk there, seemed in those days a lot of new not too jaded yet 18, 19 and 20 year olds right off the farm were there. I think the one hour rate was $30 to $35, sweet...

I cultivated many to come to my apartment after work or on their days off for $50 and they seemed more than happy with that paltry sum. I requested a threesome once and was surprised they had converted back to massage tables instead of the odd item resembling a twin bed I was used to. Since I'm 200 lbs, the table and two chicas wasen't a viable option, so it ended up being my first and only standing up threesome..the girls thought it was quite funny but still worth evey penny. I got so spoiled, that place and a few others in Sabana and Paseo kept me from going downtown for poon for months...

Oooops looks like I hijacked this thread...Oh well, some of you newbies should be exploring some of the Paseo Colon MP's anyway, reasonably safe neighborhood close to downtown with lots of cool Tico sodas, shops and a nice park, a short and cheap bus or taxi ride from downtown. That's my answer when people say we spend too much time in the gulch and need to see the other sites of Costa Rica....

It's part of the regular tour when I'm in town. We start the Paseo Colon walk at that point.

Personally, I never see anything I'd do there. 360 may have replaced it in this role.

Funny you should ask about Oasis! As BD said when we do a walk in the PC area we start there. For those not familiar with the PC area it is very easy to tell a taxista "KFC en Paseo Colon" get out there and walk 1 1/2 blocks north. Machu Pichu restaurant is on the right side of the street and Oasis is right in front of the restaurant. There will be an older guy at the entrance who has been the doorman there for years.

We were there just this past week and I sessioned there with Rebecca, a chica who I have known for years but had not seen in a while (2 more Babi*s ago), BD and the other two guys all sessioned at kamaSutra!! As for Oasis being a place to find new younger chicas, NOT ANY MORE!! Last week there were 5 chicas there and not a one under 30. But for anyone looking for an "old favorite" it might be a good place to start your search. Rebecca was well know for a long time as is Trianny (NF) and a couple others who's names slips my old brain right now.

As far as I know all the rooms have regular beds. The old massage tables have been gone since the owner closed the old Zafiros (Sapphires) and mover the beds from there to Oasis. If I remember correctly one or two of the rooms on the front may be too small for a full size bed. I have sessioned in 4 different rooms that all now have full beds.

Oasis was very popular with the Gringo crowd for years. It was considered one of the nicer, more up scale MPs always with a good selection of chicas. It is still a nice place and always clean but the quality of the chicas overall has dropped.

As BD said, 360 is now the "go to" place with the best selection of great performers!! And this is not just in Paseo Colon--it is by far the most popular MP in all of Costa Rica!!!

By the way, I have mentioned this several times before but it is worth repeating (IMHO). When taking a taxi to a MP, if at all possible always have another business close to the MP to tell the taxi you want to go to. In the above case-KFC when going to Oasis. If you want to skip Oasis and go directly to 360, tell him Taco Bell en Paseo Colon (next corner past KFC). Get out there and walk 3 blocks north and it is the 2 story terracotta colored building on the SW corner.

The reason for doing this is if the taxista takes you directly to the MP most often he will get out, go in, and demand a tip for bring you there. If the MP pays him it will be added to YOUR bill!!! And most of these guys will demand c10000 for bringing you there even though you told him where you wanted to go.

The other problem is if you tell him a particular MP, he will often try to take you to another one where he knows he will be paid for bringing you there. He will tell you the one you want is no good and he knows a much better one, or even worse, not say a word but just take you to another one!! For example, all the taxistas know that New Fantasy will pay them c10000 for bringing a gringo there. One reason gringos are charged so much more there!!!!
