My link above to the archives post is probably as close as you'll get, read the threads on "The Hunt" and "Money", for starters...

Good idea, better make time to do some reading...

Jenjad,

When you made the comment to "short, everyone including myself percieved it in it's meaning. That you would negotiate a price with a girl and then when you had finished your business then you would give her less. That's why we all jumped on your back.

The accepted practice is to negotiate a session including length of time and what services would be provided, when you would pay and to honor that. We all recommend paying less that $100, getting a few pops in and paying after the fact.

CRT is a large site and navigation is cumbersome. It's hard to get info on the best and most reasonable hotels, apartment hotels, and resturaunts.

That's why we have the newbies and hotels sections to consolidate all this information. I appreciate you may not have much time but there is a wealth of information here and many questions you could ask have already been answered. It should only take a little time to go through the reviews and find what you need. The search tool will help you too.

YO (as Circus would say  ), Jenjad...

I'm a newbie here (@CRT) myself...way "newer" than you...and I've been reading (and, occasionally, laughing) my ass off and learning A SH*ITLOAD here: There are damn near 40,000 posts here, and it DOES take some time/EFFORT to read through them...but EXPERIENCE has taught me that the time I invest in reading posts and making some notes PREPARING for my trip will pay BIG dividends when my plane eventually touches down in CR for the first time. 8)

I normally work a 6-61/2 day/ 70-80 hour week: Because it will materially affect the QUALITY of my first trip, the time I spend reading these posts is just as important as the time it will take me to pack my suitcase for my trip...actually, even more so: So much so, that I'd even take the first few days of my vacation, if necessary, to just STAY HOME and READ these posts before going to the airport (unless you can get one of these seasoned guys to agree to let you handcuff yourself to him for the duration of your trip...how about it, Ciego? 8) ). :!:

It had not occurred to me to whine or complain about the site being "cumbersome" or "large" or difficult to navigate: In fact, I'm already deeply indebted to the monger bretheren here who have gone before me and have bothered to reach back and try to help out guys like you and me. Can you imagine what you'd do if CRT didn't even exist? I'll bet you probably would'nt be able to find your own ass with BOTH hands (let alone anyone else's) in CR!...And Spanish is my FIRST language, Dude!

If, as you feel, "trips to CR are expensive"...then that's also why R.I.F. (Reading is Fundamental) is a good idea, amigo.

"Know what Ah mean, VERN??? :?:

Chaining poor old El C to some ignorant newbie? Wouldn't that sort of be like having the "blind leading the blind"? :P Actually El C is one vet that would probably be happy to do it.

Cremaconpalo,
To appreciate Prolijo's sense of humor I suggest you click on this link
and insert "ciego" and select the Spanish to English translation.

I just returned from my first CR trip today. I need to thank many CRT's that have helped me before and during my trip.

Paying up front?... I was with 6 different girls (yep, only 6 :) ) in my 9 days and only paid up front twice (in MP's). All the other times. I didn't even take out or show any money, we just started. After we were done, showered, and getting dressed I took out my wallet out and paid them. The girls never mentioned money. If the girl put in max effort and was sweet and nice, I always added a tip ($10-20). I never paid $100 straight up, with tip I did a couple times. But I am an exception because I had to pay a little more because the house we rented was about 25-30 minutes away, so most BM girls did not even want to go, others wanted more$.

I will post my trip report in the next few days. It's kind of long so I need to edit it down a little.

Any questions, PM me and I will try to help you out as much as I was helped by others here. There are no dumb questions, believe me I asked some interesting questions, see my vitamin questions
