Hello all,

I am a new to the board and have read quite a lot of the posts so far. I have recently purchased my VIP membership and I am ready to put it to good use! This will be my first trip to CR and I wish I had a wingman to join, but I am going to make a solo go at this. I am looking to go Sept. 3-7, I am from South Florida and airline tickets are $301 r/t which I thought was a good price. Is this a good time to go? I really need a get away (just wrapped up my divorce) and this is probably the best time I can do it this year. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Still up in the air as far as accomidations.

Welcome to the board and congrats on the VIP membership. It will pay for itself on your first trip down no doubt.

Back in the day, early September was the perfect time to come down as we had the CRT Anniversary party with a ton of great guys in attendance. Still think it is a good time to come as that is just after Labor Day so probably still some good-fellows around and girls should be plentiful after a big weekend just before you'd arrive. Weather during that time is fine...it will rain but (usually) no big deal.

Remember my first trip (to Amsterdam and around Europe) right after my first wife left...priceless. I'd say don't let anything get in the way, get down here and enjoy yourself.

Look up at upper right and you will see the "Calendar" link. Looks like Bashful will be there. You can also add yourself if you'd like in the calendar and the Roll Calls section to help find a wing.

It's always a good time to go to CR (except the big holidays down there) and I always go during the rainy season!

Gab, myself and 4 wings will be getting in on sept 2nd,,,,, great group of cr vets ....all staying at different hotels...we meet at the delrey ( tute table) we will probably hit jaco for at least one night
Normal day is hit the mp's around 11, pick a different place for lunch and play some cards ,,,, then meet back up at the delrey nightly at 8pm. You are most welcome to meet up and I suggest getting the whatsup app on your phone ( most every girl in san jose has and makes it so there is no need to buy a phone .

nope. Didn't spend much time hunting in SL. Ran into an old fav that spurned me ... ME! of all people! Suddenly the SL lost its attraction for the remainder of the trip.
