I, most certainly, do not want to challenge the posted rules regarding "drugs", but in light of the new way the US and other parts of the world are revisiting the issue of marijuana...maybe CRT should open it up to discussion. From the many bad things that can happen to you in a foreign country, using marijuana should be approached with caution. One option to consider to avoid dealing with possibly unsavory types in CR, would be to BYO medibles. I know of one individual with medical issues that has brought medicated chocolate to CR, Panama, Dominican Republic, Thailand, and Cuba for years.
Of course, YMMV.

I was at The Jazz Café in San Pedro last week watching a Beatles cover Band and the smell of pot was quite obvious in the air all night.

Yea...

Seriously y'all. I totally get the taboo of ndr8ge girls, and hard drugz...but a little weed?? Come on.

It's 2014 folks. Medical MJ is legal in around 20 states, and completely legal recreationally in 2. Only draconian Federal law still has it classified as a Category 1 narcotic.

It's really no different or worse than getting your drink on. Let's be adults about this...

Agree whole-heartedly. Alcohol causes brain cell death so this is actually better for you. + no hangover recovery time...And let's not forget Uruguay...: http://www.cnn.com/2014/05/06/world/ame ... ana-rules/ << Is it banned here to quote a respected news source? So be it.

No guys (and Jazz you should know this) - its banned b/c its illegal and the Admin's of this site have said so - no constitutional protection here - its their site, and their rules.

(On a personal basis, I could care less - while I personally hate the stuff, I would never vote in favor of keeping it illegal - and to tell someone that is suffering from an illness that they can't use it <a la Jeb Bush recently> is heartless)

It is not hard to get in CR, just ask a american that lives there . I have been to DR many times and it is also easy . You will find the quality very good in CR and terrible in DR no matter who you know .

P.S Leave us smokers alone . We don"t bother the DRUNKS

I've heard the best stuff can be gotten by the two guys that operate the xray machine at the airport. Just trust them and tell them exactly what you are looking for. They'll get ya set up.
