Hi all, Newbie here to all this. My buddy and myself are planning a trip to jaco early Aug. Weve never been. We're 39 and like the bar/club scene. We know that there is bars and a few clubs. We're wondering if there's groups of women tourist that travel to jaco. We would like to try our luck at the bar/clubs with tourist and if that fails we always have the working women fall back on lol. So Basically the question is, is there lots of single tourist women that travel to jaco and go to the bars/clubs or will it be mostly working women and lots of men???

Yeah, maybe American and some Euro women. You could stay home for that.

Are you looking for non-pro Latinas? Forget Jaco, stay in San Jose and hit the dance clubs.

i would think if you found a group of traveling tourist women in jaco they would be lesbianas or lost.

I doubt any such women would be from organized tour groups--their interest in the area would be Manuel Antonio. As a singlr male of <60 on such a mid-budget tour a decade ago, I was strongly advised to avoid at night and even during the day. Tough to see a group of women of any age/nationality being interested--they'd confine their action to a much cleaner beach town that's more compact, more encouraging (meaning less courage needed), with better shopping. As far as gay women, unless there's a network in Jaco, can't see them being much interested, even the down-and-dirtys--doubtful you'd be aware of their presence. And lost/mis-routed? One or 2 maybe; a group if stuck would hire a group taxi and high-tail it quickly. I may be totally brown-eyes on any or all these guesses. OTOH if you come across afew women (emphasis on "of age women...who can prove it") who could be Westchester tennis queens-plus-10, you could be their adventure. I'd be wary and keep a bit of distance--make them commit. Then treat them like a Bowery pick-up and GET SOME...mutually. Never hurts to inject a wee bit of harmless fantasy in every encounter, right?

Now Scuba1.....you're leaving out the freshly emerging (what with all the newly found courage) pre-operative trans-sexuals that clearly, apparently, walk amongst us, CRT membership card in hand. Methinks "they've" been in negotiations with their post-operative "sisters" who ply their trade nightly at "our places" which include the SL and have concluded now is as good atime as any to "...bring the ruckus....". Ah, Diversity.....Even posters like our good friend and associate BashfulDwarf want the details of those contacts from CRT "brothers" be they the "pitcher" or the "catcher". Hole is hole, right?

As for Jaco data exclusively, the propensity for pre or post operative trans-sexual encounters are every bit as real as those being outlined by Master Monger BashfulDwarf who rapidly approaches the well earned fame of JazzboCR, Mucho Gusto, and oh so many others with their clearly advanced knowledge and data base given the massive number of forum "contributions" each has made. Bottom line: (note the use of the term bottom), one can't be really certain what "...lies below and beneath...." until one has a gander

I know you're going to tell us how studly you are for your age and all, but most young tourist girls are probably looking for guys in their 20's not pushing 40. They too can get a 40yr old guy back home.

At the nightclub Blue there is a good mix of peeps, international and local, with both working and non working young ladies.

i have seen some at le loft and orange but as someone else said they dont seem to be looking for older men.
however there are many beautiful locals (looking for $$) that frequent the clubs/bars and dont work the cocal.
