Hey Guy's,

I'll be in Jaco at the Cocal from Nov 7th till the 9th, Fri - Sun. No Problem.

This is where I need your help.
I'm looking to leave Jaco Mon Nov10th for MA, is there a bus or other reliable transportation to MA? And cost.

Second, same thing. Looking to leave MA for SJ on Wed Nov12th. Any cheap suggestions for this leg. Fielding and suggestions.

Thanx.

There is bus service from Jaco to Manuel Antonio. Two companies service the route, one is part of the San Jose to Quepos, the other route is from Puntarenas to Quepos. There are several buses per day. There is service from Quepos/ MA/ to San Jose multiple times per day. The Jaco buses to Quepos are most easily picked up on the north end of town near the Best Western, the bus termina in Quepos is a few blocks from the Best Western in Quepos. The buses returning to San Jose drop you off downtown, can not remember the exact location. The buses are very cheap, it is only a few dollars to travel the Quepos route and less than $10 from Quepos to San Jose. Use the direct bus from to San Jose.

Go to quepolandia.com, look under the visitor resources guide for more info.

FYI, the national park at MA is closed on Monday.

I've taken the Quepos - San Jose bus. There is an express bus a few times each day that makes only ONE pitstop for food and baƱos during the trip. I took the 5:30 pm express from Quepos.........very fast......very cheap.

You can ask which times are "express" when you buy the ticket. Get the ticket beforehand. The busses can be FULL.

The terminal in SJ is somewhere around Ave. 10 and Calle 5, near Clinica Biblica. In Quepos, the terminal is in Quepos Centro.
