You see now that is what brotherhood is all about, many of us came out to help you out with gift ideas. It seems that some of the guys on the board do know her.

Now I have to reconsider the choices.....oh hell just get her a $10 CD player from the Swap Shop and the bikini briefs with "Scuba ate here:...er I mean "Scuba dove here" embroidered across the front.

Thank you all. I liked Paco's idea the most and VB's the least. VB-as a frequent flyer, I am not getting 1 mile per dollar, I am getting 10 miles to the dollar. Hey, I'm having fun. It's like having a nymphomaniac girlfriend when you are in 7th grade.
GreyGhost-thanks for some good ideas. Good standbys if I can't find that really unique one.

VB..that was harsh even for you...at least you did not use the POS on her (which I know you would not, as she is not). I have said all along, Scuba is getting just what he wants, and I think he knows what the ultimate outcome will be..Sometimes the longer you ride the bull, the harder it bucks you (did I say BUCK??). I think that is what is sometimes underestimated when guys get themslves into little adventures, is that often are designing the experinces that they most desire....sometimes it is drauma, sometimes sex like porn stars..bla bla..yes,there is pain, yes, there can be obsession, but those are bi products of the game, at least for those whose desires are as much emotinal as they are physical...

enough of this bs, perhaps what you need to get her Scuba, is a 13 inch strap on, so you can be her B*^^ch. Now that, would be something.....

It's called "tough love" Scuba. I have seen and been involved in so many of these Tica love affairs, that always seem to end badly for the guys, (like your last one)that I sometimes can't keep my mouth shut. My concern is NOT the financial aspects of these relationships,but more importantly the emotional. There are lots of other guys here who can give you the benefit of their experiences if they choose to. You are a big boy so I won't preach to you any more.Good luck in your adventure.

Scuba - I am sure you will find something nice ...

Other folks getting on VB ... you guys only have seen 1/2 (or less) of the picture. Scuba is a smart dude and knows what he is doing, but just to inform you, he was not in a happy place after the last gal. VB recommended a sweet thing to him to be the rebound girl and show him the light. If VB is giving advice, it is because I am certain he knows how things will play out etc etc, and that whether it be scuba or another in the future, they will be looking for a VB "sweety".

Get her little K*ds a gift or two also. K*ds always love those stickers etc. Very cheap as well as other items from the states are always appreciated. As for her i can't say.

Hand..I actually know the situation pretty well, and am not speaking from a place of ignorance...... Yes, there will be a crash and burn...that goes without saying...Of course there will be another sweety, and then another, and then another......the key is to understand that this is so.....or at least that is my take on it....the key is letting go ofthe truth enough to enjoy the fantasy, but not loosing touch with reality totally. I understand that Jetti Bob takes the role of reality check, and I very much appeciate that.....the moment VB ever tells me to run from something, I will take a very hard look at it, as we all should do when we are getting clear feedback from multible sources....

Hand, it is also great to see your concern- this is what the brotherhood is about (for me), besides the obvious.

Hey Guys,
Thanks for all the ideas even though we drifted off course. All I wanted was a few unique gift suggestions. I appreciate ALL the feedback.
I can only say that I am a passenger, not the driver, on this train to NOWHERESVILLE. It's already taken me places I didn't know existed but if it crashes tomorrow, VB, you'll be the first guy I'll want to talk to.
BTW Bob, how about a few posts on those "loves" of the past?
As it stands now, It's perfume and she has an entertainment type unit with empty shelves so I think I will pick out some nice sea shells from my own collection of ones I have from around here for her. Of course, toys for the k*ds always.
