Sterling needs to get out of the NBA environment. He is an ignorant 81 year old demented racist from a bygone era. BUT, that bitch whore should be sued by him for illegally taping their conversations without his permission and knowledge.

I don't think they should be able to kick him out. Plus they knew he was a racist before this point anyway. He was under investigation or being taken to court over it consistently before and during his ownership.

This is just a much more public issue. I think he is waiting to see how it pans out but if players want to be traded and new players will not play for him that will force him to sell. Plus if he looses sponsorship money and other contracts that will force the sale too.

I think his people are quietly looking into valuing the company/franchise for sale. He is not the first racist owner of a major sports team and he will not be the last.

i dislike sterling for lots of reasons but this is nonsense and he's going to litigate as he should.

The NBA commissioner has a lot more power than you know.

There was an interesting article this morning about the legal ramifications of a lifetime ban and even a forced sale. The conclusion was Silver and the rest of the owners do have binding authority to force Sterling out of the league and even force him to sell the team... if they choose to.

^ thanks for that and i like a lot about what he said. not sure i agree with his inner city/chicago assessment but thats a different conversation.
sterling is a cuckold and he didn't want to be embarrassed by her hanging w younger black men. at least thats what he was talking about on the tapes that i've heard. that and a very disturbing manner of thinking about why things are the way they are in this world.
