Hank:

When Boyd was at the old HLH he had to replace my battery as well in the safe. Of course Boyd did it ASAP upon request.

If he truly wants to be successful with the crt crowd, he needs to review the site daily and keep up with the questions and situations that members have ( it will be time well spent for the success of his hotel)

You are 100% correct - and in todays world, you have to be computer literate - you have to be comfortable generating, as well as responding to e mails, and check sites such as CRT.

THIS IS LOW HANGING FRUIT, Guy - these are your customers - in addition to the other things you do, you need to be on sites like CRT promoting your brand, answering questions, generating positive vibes for your hotel.

You don't need to be obnoxious about it - but you need to be here.

I hear you and agree 100% about computer literacy - it seems second nature to younger folks, and not so much to guys like us.

But in todays world, you have to have computer skills.

If I was not sure you are a troll, I'd answer more of the "points" you made in your post.

All I will say is in todays world, you have to be somewhat literate on the computer - and since many of the ML's guests and potential guests could come from CRT, it would seem to make sense to cater more to this site - valid points all.

You seem more interested in taking a personal shot at me, which is odd because my post was neither wrong nor nasty to Guy at all. But then, trolls never get it; they exist to create turmoil and BS. Get out another tissue, b/c you got me to answer your post

I agree with you on your points but they are not as important as getting some cash infusion into the Mona Lisa to improve the situation there. That is the main problem at the property. They need serious investors with a love/understanding/experience for the business and who have serious cash to infuse into the property.

I should also mention both refrigerators were broken as well. Yes. They need cash big time I think.

I met Guy a few years back when he worked at Dunn. He went out of his way to spend time with my wing man who was staying there and myself, he made us feel like "insiders with a connection", telling us of the upcoming plans and improvements at Dunn and just being straight and honest and informative. I have been in corporate sales, marketing and operations all my life, almost 40 years worth, and I was highly impressed with the way Guy befriended us, spent time with us and made us feel special.

I'll vouch for his honesty, sincerity and integrity as well as his willingness to deliver, if he doesn't fix your problem at any hotel he's at, then that hotel for some strange reason can't do it or refuses to do it, but if not, Guy will look out for you.

8)

I agree with everything you say about Guy, I have known him for years, and he is okay. The problem is he is not in charge. I do not agree that he can fix anything. It's not his place, nor does he manage it. My last time there I felt that it was too far gone for me to be in. Now everyone has there preferences and choices where to stay and there's lots to choose from. I am just sayin that the ML does not have the upkeep to keep this bat happy, but you may be happy there. Enjoy! 8)

I never said I was happy with the ML at all. I said it needs a serious cash infusion to turn the situation around. As for me, when in CR I stay in Escazu at the Wyndham Gardens with my favorita these days. Nothing like an International Brand with extremely comfortable King Size beds, great fitness rooms, pool, Jacuzzi, great breakfast buffet and restaurant, etc. Same at the Residence Inn in Escazu. When I want a little something different, I take a taxi to an MP in SJO a couple of times and I'm happy. I've had it with the Barrio Amon scene. But that's just my preference and how I roll these days as an old dude visitor.
