Hi All,

This will be my first trip to CR. I just returned from a 9 day adventure to India and very pooped out!

Are there any member who will be in SJ around this time and possibly even the evening of May 25th to help a CR Newbie out?

I want to totally avoid sharks!! And am looking for first time independent. Where is the best place to go fishing? I do prefer spinners, but understand they can be hard to come by in SJ.

Thank you in advance for any assistance and advice.

Safe Adventures.

I've only been mongering in Costa Rica once, in the past it has been PI or the DR.

However, I stayed at the Sportman's Lodge and never had any issues with girls being too aggressive. If they approached and I was uninterested, a simple "No thank you" was sufficient. At the Del Rey they were a little more aggressive, but not too bad, compared to Sousa, they are wallflowers.

This trip I'm trying the Amistad. I understand they don't allow Ticas at the bar, but you can bring your own in.

I am not thinking about getting a room at Zona 2.. Thoughts Please

Thank you in advance for any assistance and advice.

Zona 2 is awesome. Why not stay there? Beautiful, modern suites for $100 CRT. Beautiful girls downstairs waiting for you to bring them up to your bed. You don't need a wingman for that.

There are plenty of spinners in CR.

Maybe you and Rocky_506 can meet up. He seems like an easy going, low key guy

Rocky,

I sent a request for room, but did not get a response. I tried calling, but got a recording. What's going on with that place?

I just made a Res. at the SL. Just easier. But Zona 2 would be nice if I could get through to them!

Thanks for the feedback.

Other thoughts?

If you like wild and crazy, and being right in the middle of the action, request 3rd floor or higher with window and stay at the Del Rey, if you like friendlier low key relaxed atmosphere in quieter neighborhood, make sure they don't stick you with rooms in front, SL.

If for some crazy reason you want a hotel with no chicas floating about, The Dunn Inn is classy, reasonable and has good food, if you are cheap and don't mind a hell hole, Morazan is up your alley...

Thank you ... primarily looking to stay away from pushy old, fat sharks with too much makeup and looking for fresh new talent. and as I said ... I prefer spinners.

I stick with what Nancy Reagan says, "Just say no" when the fatties, uglies or oldies approach, then when a cutie catches my eye, I give em an interview, if they are not excited to talk to me and possibly "earn" a date, I still move on, there's always going to be that one...just remember, you're the "employer" conducting an 'interview", there's plenty to review...spinners are everywhere, many younger chicas here are around 5 feet tall or even shorter, 100 pounds or so. You'll find 'em !!!

Thank you for the good words. Just got back from India and was with a 19, a 21 and a 23 year old. The 21 was really sweet ... just my type. I do not like a lot of attitude! 23 year was what they call a housewife, but boy was she a squealer (do not mean a pig)

Over-nights?

Rocky,
Definitely not scared of Pros! Have been traveling like this since early 80s' :? Just do not want to waste my time or money on bla bla bla! Yes Newbie to CR, but not to the lifestyle or adventures.

I prefer fresh! New, etc. I teach .... I do not want to be taught.

Why should I call again :?: I got a recording the three times I call today. Nuff said. Next time please!

Sadly, "first time independent spinners" are about as hard to find as a plane that went down in the Indian Ocean but I wish you the best of luck. Costa Rica has had it's day as a mongering venue. Que lastima pero es verdad. .

Understand about the Newbie spinners. :( Overall, where is the best place to fish for Newbie Independents of all types?

Looks like my first night will be fishing at DR. What can I expect?
