Can a CRT member walk up show the card and get the rate or do they have to go and pm you ? Sometimes in an instant you need a room and do not have a chance to find or PM you ?

Why a second thread in a week when the other is still in the top 3? Also thought there was a section for sponsor announcements so this section didn't get cluttered up. This section is not for ads...so this thread (and the other one) are nothing more than spam in violation of CRT rules.

IMHO posts from Sir Guy in this section should be reserved for addressing the numerous complaints that have been aired. Why he can post specials but not address problems is beyond me...

$49.99 sounds good, but don't forget about the staff tax, taken directly out of the room safe. All those taxes and fees could add up.

By looking at the timelines, the previous thread started by Sir Guy was #2 below Admin's threads. No one can convince me that Sir Guy did not read that thread before starting a new one. He obviously saw the accusations in that thread, and ignored them. IMO, when an accusation goes unchallenged, it is probably true.

When Mona Lisa opened, I think almost every member here who was aware of the opening was in support of it, and wished it would be successful. The fall downwards is much easier than the climb back up.

Just as unwelcome is the apparent need to clutter every Mona Lisa thread with old news - there's a thread about that incident already. The second-hand assumptions and speculation aren't necessary.

I personally had a very nice stay at ML.... no issues at all and at this rate I'd gladly stay there again. I'm sorry that someone had a bad experience, but it just reinforces the basic rule of "lock your shit up".

I also had a very nice stay at the Mona Lisa a little less than a year ago. Was it perfect? No, but it was a very good rate, with a clean room, a pretty good bed, in a great location. I will admit that the restaurant did pretty much suck and there wasn't much of a crowd at the bar in the early evenings. But at $49, this is a VERY good deal. I would definitely consider staying here again if the Sportsmen's doesn't have a room away from the Courtyard available.

For those of you that put your life inside of a room safe, take a look at this video. I saw this originally on one of the Thailand forums.

Breaking into a Room Safe with a Potato

I agree with PVT that the ML has NOT addressed the various complaints stated in the earlier thread from last week and also this announcement does not belong in this section.

So where do you put your valuables? Pretty sure most of our dates don't carry a potato in their purse so if the safe gets jacked it must be a hotel employee.

Note to self: avoid chicas from the country.

Frankly, I'm surpried that we don't see signs around the safe that says "The hotel is not responsible for cash and valueables locked in this safe" :P

classic. just start another thread and ignore the incident like it never happened. it seems to work in the highest offices so why not?
whatever. i know some guys are fine w the down side of this place but imo the starting of another thread here is very indicative of how this establishment views its clients.
at $50 a night you can take it or leave it.

Yet another reason why I don't date women from Idaho.

Try a banana, if you strike out you can always eat it later, it's good for you, lots of potassium which lowers your blood pressure.

Yes any CRT member can walk in without a reservation and get a room for $49.99 by just showing a valid CRT card. Or you can book in advance. Whatever you prefer. Guy
