Freshly available through Collector'sChoice and other sites is this 2-CD remastering of a '74 Memphis concert + a ton of other stuff. You don't have to be a stone Elvis fan to want this package. Here's more (and check the track listing--Lawdy, Miss Clawdy!):

On this, go for the 720 HD option--it pops.
I actually like another on-topic late-Elvis song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sx7I4DfUGM4 << tell me there's a Bro that ain't felt this way.

OK. So please name your candidate for The King of Rock'n'Roll. Chuck Berry and Jerry Lee Lewis might be viable--who else? The one thing all 3 have in common is that they were so great in writing/adapting AND playing so many different music forms--R'n'R, Gospel, Country, even Latin. We'll not see their like again.

Ah, Neil Young once referred to Johnny Rotten as being "The King".

And always remember "it is better to burn out then to fade away".

You forgot to mention Little Richard and Buddy Holly. Yeah, it's hard to argue against Elvis being the 'King', unless you expand the term. In that case, I would say definitely the Beatles were the 'Kings' of Rock n' Roll. The most influential band in the history of Rock!

No, sorry my Main Man.....Elvis is NOT the king of rock and roll. Fucckin' lounge act.....if that. Just a thick lipped peckerwood in the right place at the right time.....SAFE for whitey......

Chuck Berry is the king. Wrote his own songs; plays his own songs; sings his own songs; screwed (!) by the Mann Act and that was just for starters.....

!! Yessuh!! That's my kind of rock and roller! (actually, Charles' cams were to catch an employee who was stealing from the restaurant, I assure you..... ). He not only hit it and quit it, he had video before the "players" amongst this crowd (shall I start listing CRT "handles"?!) starting videoing (digital) their bought and paid for "conquests" with the San Jose birds of the night. Certain rooms in a certain "hotel" or two stream video at will. :!: :P

Yes, S2, strategically placed cams in CR continue to function as long as the internet connection is up........EASTER EGG!!!!!
