I just love it when guys post saying "this is how it is", "this is what you will pay" "They are all like this or that", "They will all try to rip you off", "This is the way to do it". And the worst of all!!! "SHE IS THE BEST THERE IS!!" In almost every case they are speaking from ONLY their personal experience, which is based on their personality, their attitude, their looks, the size of their pocketbook and how free they are with it, what type of chica they like, and on and on. No place is the same for everyone, no chica is the same for everyone, No two guys have the same amount of experience mongering, the same self confidence, the same ability to sell themselves, nor the same level of Spanish speaking ability (and YES, that does quite often make a BIG difference!! And no chica is going to treat every guy the same!!!!!!!!
Point is, the range of what guys pay for independents can and does range for short time (usually one, maybe 2 hours) from as little as $20 to as much as maybe $200 (can be even more with escort services but that is not really independents). Even with the same chica the amount can vary drastically depending on all of the above, and also on how bad that chica needs money at the moment. I have seen cases where one guy will pay double what another will pay for the same chica. For long time (TLN) the price again will vary greatly. I know many guys who will pick a chica (maybe one they have been with before) late at night, agree to a price for short time, and then the chica will end up staying all night, often for no more money. Often chicas you have been with several times will do TLN for much less than if the same chica was going with a guy she just met. I know guys who never seem to be able to pull an all nighter for less than $250-$300; I know other guys who can regularly pull the same chicas for $100, even sometimes as little as $80 or even the price of a sort time session.
Hell I have a friend who is still a relative newbie and often (I my opinion only) he pays too much. He just spent a few nights in Jaco. Every one says the chicas are much more expensive there ($100+ for ST) He had no trouble pulling chicas for as little as $60. And when I say that in my opinion he pays too much, that is just for me!! What anyone pays and whether it is a good price or a bad price depends on only one thing. HOW THAT INDIVIDUAL FEELS ABOUT WHAT HE PAID AND HOW HAPPY HE IS WITH WHAT HE GOT FOR WHAT HE PAID!!! If he is happy with paying double what someone else paid, the only thing that counts is that he is happy!!! When I hear other old timers complaining about someone paying too much, I have a standard saying: "Hey the more he pays, the more money she has, and the less I have to pay her"
Many seem to think when a guy pays "too much" (again what is "too much"?) it makes the price go up! Bull crap!! When I moved here 8 years ago the REY and SL chicas were asking "cien" and going generally for $60 to $80. Today they are STILL asking "cien" and going (generally) for $60 to $80!! Where has anyone overpaying affected the prices
Oh and inflation during that 8 years has been about 150%here, so actually the price has gone way down. Even in the States what can you buy today for the same price you paid 8 years ago??
Point of all my rambling: Don't worry too much about what others pay, or say they pay (in my opinion many guys can out lie the chicas that they complain about lying!!
). Come here, experiment at first with YOUR negotiating skills, set limits and stick to them unless you are not at all concerned about how much you spend. Pick what pleases you and if that ends up costing you more than you wanted to spend, don't settle for lowering your standards, LOWER THE NUMBER YOU DO! One outstanding experience is worth a hell of a lot more than 6 bad experiences!!
As for MPs, prices are basically set in each place though it is becoming more and more common for the chicas to negotiate for "extras" (BBBJ, CIM, Kissing, GFE, etc.) once in the room. Prices cover a wide range now in the MPs here. There are 5-6 "HI-END" places where the price will be close to or even above $100, There are 6 places in the $50 to $70 range including two Gringo owned places. There are about 45 "Tico MPs" in the $32 to $40 range, and about 6 (really "low rent" places) in the $14-$15 range (for 20-30 minutes) Often when a chica charges for "extras" and the customer is a Gringo she does not know she will ask c10000 ($20) for each extra. This is "rip off the gringo pricing" Virtually all normally charge c5000 for each extra and after 3 ,throw in everything else for free. All this is except the culo which is almost always more and depends on the chica and the "size" of the guy!!!!!!!!!! prices for the culo for both independents and MP chica range from c10000 to as much as c50000. Any chica that goes over that is telling you she really does not do the culo!!!
