you watched willis reed, walt frazier, earl the pearl, bradley, desbuschere et al and became a fan of the Heat?
and a Dodger fan became a passing fan of the Marlins??? impossible. imposter. lmao

Really? Seriously

Can you point out the rule stating a human being cannot root for more than one team, or change allegiance to a new team?

After all, if Ronald Reagan could switch parties why can't a fan switch teams?

just trying to help ya out man. It's gotta suck being a Lakers fan right now... GR felt comfortable with the switch. You apparently don't... OK...suffer then.

well i guess switching teams means you can always win that must be nice, if not vacuous but hey who am i to judge?

and i know ELS is from chicago thats why i wouldn't even suggest he would root for the white sox. silly man that would be like you suddenly becoming a giant fan the last few years...were you an orange and black fan back then? :D

Back when? 1950's? Before my time amigo. White Sox are in the American League FYI so I think your analogy holds more weight if you were to ask was I a Yankees fan. I am not sure what the animosity is between White sox and Cubs fans... maybe El S can educate us here. But I could NEVER support the hated Yankees.

yeah i'd feel great about rooting for a squad that hangs selfies over the Lakers championship banners and retired numbers. what a farce. why they have to share that space is beyond me. ugly step Ch*ld and always will be. out by the second round.

its man code but as you always say teho
i wouldn't Phuck my buddies wife but some have no problem w it
i will admit rooting against the heat even going so far as to root for "gag" boston
i guess i just got the idea somewhere that their fans tend to be front runners not sure where
i like that the arena at least locks out the crybabies that leave early in a championship game and want back in. :P

No need to admit it, I think we have the evidence buried in this thread somewhere. Yeah man. "Gag" is right. That was one of your low points.

Talk about introducing strawmen...

Getting back to the topic... so is this like the "Fight Club" rules? "You NEVER EVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES change sports allegiances. Else you will be called a FRONT RUNNER."

You could make a case for this whole "front runner" and "man code" malarkey if there were an actual principle involved.

For example, Benedict Arnold or Quisling were truly worthy of being despised. But someone who changed their preference for a sports team? Seriously?

look its not like it was changed to root for an up and coming golden state team. it was like everyone wearing bulls gear during the jordan years. where are all those guys now?
the kings won a stanley cup in LA and everyone started wearing kings gear. i congratulated the fans because even though i'm an LA guy and fan somewhat of hockey i've probably been to five games in my life. it was their win and not mine imho so i just enjoyed it.
to me a fan is someone who goes to games and watches through thick and thin waiting for it to get better and talking shit about what to do next etc. of course people are going to cheer for winners but i thought PR was old school. i guess if you move to that city its different. i can love kevin durant but i'm not happy if okc wins and only hope one day he signs w the lakers.
i could never be an angel, giant, a's, padres fan since i grew up a Dodger fan and thats just it. i did root for the angels when they beat the giants in the series. I don't expect you to understand if the only rush you get from sports is cheering for the winners. again teho
cmon Bill i know you're reading this
