I need to have minor surgery on my foot and I'm having a hard time finding a Podiatrist in Costa Rica. Does anyone know of one anywhere near Alajuela or San Jose?

Interesting question that hasn't been asked here before. Podiatrists seem thin on the ground in CR; I could only find a reference to one doctor and maybe podiatry departments at 2 hospitals. Not a recommendation, just info: http://www.whereismydoctor.com/foot-car ... costa-rica

Perhaps an Orthopedic Surgeon may be a solution.
