I'll be spending some time in la fortuna with some lucky lady, lol.
I will do the usual ATV stuff, ziplines etc. What I really wanted to do was a helicopter tour of the volcano. I know it's pricey. Are there any helicopters that fly out from la fortuna. I know there are some in SJ but cost to get to La Fortuna is way to costly.
Any info would help.

As the crow fly's La Fortuna to San Jose is not that far. I doubt you will get a better price than San Jose. As a general rule I do not know of any tour operator out of La Fortuna. You can call Desafio Adventure out of La fortuna. They control almost all the tours in the area. If anyone knows they would.

Thanks for the info. I contacted them but there is no helicopter service in la fortuna. I thought it would have been enjoyable. I found one in SJ. Think is was 25 minute ride but not sure if it would be very scenic in that area vs cost.

Good idea though. Maybe One Lucky Dogg should start on. I anyone know where I can find a slightly used eggs beater?

These ought to help: http://www.globalplanesearch.com/helicopters/ and http://www.aerotrader.com/Helicopter%3A ... rsn=hybrid and http://www.controller.com/list/list.aspx?catid=7&pdcl=1 and, finally, financing your Big Fun http://www.airfleetcapital.com/requestloanquote

I'm always eager to help...
