Unlike some. I realized long ago that I had minimal playing or writing talent. I put that considerable energy into listening to, filtering out the crap of and appreciating all that remains of, popular music (you got me on classical/World music--I don't get the point of Balinese nose flutes or Tuvan throat-singing). I got a brother who's a killer drummer if you want to talk music and its technicalities. Come to SWFla and I'll introduce you. You won't let all the hungry 50's+ divorcee/ widowed woman here spook you, will you? Plus you get a chance to tap into my 3K CD/800 DVD accumulation--rummage to your heart's content. Have a nice day.

I usually don't get into these flame wars, but give Jazzbo a break! He posts a lot but always good sh*t, and links, some of it better than others. This site can't sustain itself with just the hey, hi, howdy bulls*it with the regulars, we need info and reports, and, some humor.
Stop already with the bad vibes and let's get back to our hobby!
Some people seem to have an agenda here, get the bug out of your ass.
Not to draw him into this dogfight, but take a lesson from BB57, he gives valuable information without all of the bickering.

Jazzbo, no thanks, I have plenty of those 50 plus divorced/widowed ladies right here in Broward County. That's why I travel all over to get some of that sweet young thangs. You are more than welcome to visit here and listen to my Band, The L7's, jam some Blues and Classic Rock.

Steve

Unlike some? no, I daresay most of us here ( except maybe Jawanker?) have realized early on that you had minimal writing talent.

Yet you keep on keepin' on

You can add me to the Jawanker faction, so that makes at least two of us who appreciate Jazzbo's posts.

Anyone who tries to be helpful should be encouraged. We don't have too many of those types around here.

I meant music writing talent--I was too subtle, I guess. Now on with the show...

i have to admit i pay less attention to jazzbo posts, but in no way does that equate w elimination. if you don't like what he's saying then put him on ignore. hard to extrapolate much from an internet post but if that is possible my vote is that he is a good guy.
still i am and will always be a fan of voting off the island. 8)
