Greetings All

I've spent a long time reading this, and other boards, and have finally decided to join up and make my first trip to The Gulch this month.

I'll be staying at La Amistad from February 14th to the 18th (please tell me the ticas don't disappear for Valentine's Day), so if any of you veterans feel like imparting some one on one wisdom or just sitting back and laughing as a newbie make some mistakes drop me a line and we can grab a beer or lunch.

great start in selecting the La Amistad. Hope you got the "all inclusive" . Short walk down the street to the SL and let the games begin. Any questions most guys hanging around the bar area will be happy to point you in the right direction. enjoy your trip.

There was a little confusion about the room reservation at first, but one e-mail with Matt and everything was straightened out. If that's how Amistad is run I think I'll have a pleasant stay

Trip got off to a tough start with a turbulent flight and list luggage. But once I got to San Jose it finally took a turn for the better. Well post an account of the first day later, I'm off to start my second day.
