I am still planning a near term trip to CR for a week, but will live within my budget and will spend my own money.

Good it was but you're too modest. There's the weight of overall contributions= much bigger. That said, given minimal inflation at least in the Northern Tier countries, that budget with a bit of fudging, works today...and and let's not compare quality-of-overall-experience factors. No, economics prevail all on their own. Simply put, you can have a variety of outstanding experiences in SJO for $2500 airfare excluded, for an epic week. If you can't, Bro, all I got to say is you have impossibly high expectations...and welcome to the world 2013...and please don't expect empathy or contributions from me or mine.

Suffice to say I had a few complaints about this thread, and I am moderating it under the forum's general anti-spam policy. That is, we don't actually have a specific policy against asking other people for money on CRT. However, I never though I would see an actual RFM from another dude.

I don't know if this is a hoax or joke that grew some legs, but I am going to ask members to refrain from soliciting Paypal donations on the forum unless these are for some legitimate charity, which has been approved by board administration in advance.
