The original question stands. Do people think it is acceptable in a social setting for others to walk around with a camera? Especially relevant because of popularity of things like a GoPro camera.

Posting a vote of no, and if you wanted to follow it uo with the statement that you don't find it to be a big deal because people should not assume the camera is on. That would be an acceptable response. But to call people out and threaten to a fight and either use you other screen name or a friend to also follow the invitation to a fight is just kind of, mehhhhhh. Call it showing your ass if you want to, but that is my opinion on it all.

Gentlemen,

On or off, I do not recommend bringing a video recorder into SL.

We will politely ask you to place it back into the room you are staying in, in the hotel you are staying in, or simply ask you to go somewhere else. With the way things are these days...no explanation necessary, please do not bring your video camera into the Lodge to use inside. San Jose is full of other picturesque places to photograph.

Other places may have different rules. Please check with them.
