I like the ML, but the problem with them is silence. They need the business but don't pursue it. I think they could learn a few things from Matt at L'Amistad.

cheers,

Arrived at Mona Lisa Monday the 16th of Dec. at about 6 PM. I knew they had been closed the prior week but when I arrived you could not tell there had been any problems because of the week before. Staff were all in place and I did not hear any concerns over the closure. Talked to Russ and we did not even talk about the closure. Took all of my meals in the restaurant and the bar was somewhat busy for it being the week before Xmas. All in all had I not known about the closure problems I can honestly say as of the 16th I saw no sign of the disruption. The Mona Lisa continues to improve and is going to increase as a gulch major player in my opinion.

Thanks for the update, Kojo. I was curious if they would bounce back OK.

Thanks for your Pm Kojo...I ended booking the Hotel Morazon for 44.00 per night....got rooms on the 4th floor ...been there before and rooms were clean...clean sheets, good water pressure specified the same rooms...Guy did email me finally and expressed the issues they were having and miscommunications they were experiencing .....I booked Hotel Morazon through otel.com they were having a special...and if you book now you also get 5% off ..... proximity to ground zero also played a factor to this hotel...most Crt members have issues with the Hotel Morazon but Im not looking for 5 star just a place to crash and play...ive stayed there before and in the 2am early morning hrs you will find DR staff members playing the slots waiting for their rides to show...I got hit up by one of the DR bartenders last time I was staying there as I was walking in...I wanted to try out the Mona Lisa and for the special some guys were posting, it wouldn't have been bad, but they weren't running the special I found out.

Wish the title of this thread were changed, every time I see a new post on it, it rattles me a bit. I really wish them the best of luck and I hope the flaws get fixed.

The title here doesn't need changing --it just needs nobody posting to it until or if it closes again. I've started "Mona Lisa Rockin! and maybe we can post positively to that.
