You guys are on the right track here. However to think that what is said here will stay here is pure folly. I can personally attest to that.I,as many of you already know,have been confronted (because they associate me with CRT because I live here) by several chicas about their pictures being posted. They are routinely,as Sandansta pointed out,shown the private posts and pictures to gain their favor. Some guys here would sell everyone out,including their mothers for a BBBJ. It is impossible for the Administrator to totally control this when there are over 800 paid members and over 3000 contributors here. The only real answer with a group this size,is to only post things that can not come back at you and cause you some grief. In this case both "big brother AND big sister are watching you"

Let us see... How many times Can I SAY THIS WAS NOT ABOUT PICTURES BUT A TRIP REPORT! Also it was a PUBLIC trip report and there is no inication this individual is a VIP!

All great points! Of course one needs to think about what they post on a semi-public forum as much as others should think before they blab their mouths off about what gets posted. The Admin is right, what gets posted in the regular trip section is essentially accessible to anyone who registers, whether it be the relatively unlikely event that it is some chica or more possibly just some inconsiderate unthoughtful gringo. The VIP section was set up for greater confidentiality and if a member is really concerned about his posts getting repeated he should post there or not post at all. VB was also right about one thing, although there is no evidence that this was done by a VIP, there is always that possibility. Nothing is ever 100%, including the VIP section and it would be unreasonable to expect the Admins to be able to provide 100% confidentiality. However, they HAVE done all they can. So one should guide their posting practices according to whatever risk assumption one wants to make.

Lets get this thread back on track, however. Forget about whether Doc should have posted in VIP or not at all or anything else. Regardless, it still comes down to the basic fact that someone did an incredibly assinine thing and revealed something that was posted in confidence. I don't know if this guy is more to be despised than to be pitied.

What could be his thinking?

If he reads this board, whether as member or guest, he must have derived some benefit from it. Who is he to object to one of the posts? Or at least, if he has a problem with a post, why violate the confidentiality of the board and take it up with a chica rather than raising any issues he may have had directly with Doc? If the post was somehow inappropriate or too revealing (which I don't think it was), perhaps he could have persuaded Doc to edit or delete it? By revealing the issue to the chica he has hurt more than just Doc. He has hurt the board as well. Why bite the hand that feeds you? If he is a member he should have his membership revoked without any refund. I doubt he will ever own up to his actions. However if he is Lina's fiance, or at least one of them , perhaps some one closer to the action there, like VB or TMan, will be able to figure out who he is.

Personally, I really doubt, though he may try to convince himself otherwise, that he was acting out of any real protective interest for the girl. If he was, he would have acted to have the post removed. That wasn't enough or even part of his goals. He clearly wanted the girl to be aware of it. He was either playing the role of the concerned protector in a lame attempt to score points at the expense of another member or was acting out of jealousy and lashing out at an relatively innocent person.

If he was trying to score points at another members expense, while at the same time taking advantage of the shared knowledge of other members he is a truly despicable hypocrite.

The reason I said he should be pitied as much as he should be despised is because he took the information in the post and tried to use it to damage a fellow member and/or ingratiate himself with his "fiance" rather than take the information as evidence why he shouldn't be engaged to her in the first place. This girl may be very nice but lets face it she's having sex with countless guys while she is supposedly betrothed. Thats not exactly marriage material. If this guy should be mad at anyone it should be at Lina and not at one of the guys who just happened to take her up on her availability at the BM and who also was completely ignorant of any "special relationship" she had with this guy. The fact that this guy is engaged to a BM girl and expects her to be faithful just goes to show what a pitiable fool he really is. How can you really despise someone like that or expect them to act any differently?

Well I just checked my email.What I can figure out is Linas Fiance' is a VIP.How could he see the photos?Maybe a friend is a VIP and showed him.Maybe she showed him.I have read all the replys.The only thing I am really pissed about is how my board name got back to him and her.I NEVER told her about me on the board.I make it a pratice to never talk to the ticas about my membership.It is none of their bussiness.I have meet many members but as a general rule just hang out with the friends I take down with me.

Actually Admin recently i was told by many chicas that they have seen the photos in the VIP section. I even met one who claimed to be a member or at least have the password to a VIP account. She even recited the nicks of many members and posts.

Yet, you seem to be talking primarily about Colombiana PROS...Pay4Play workers trying to go USA and married. Those talents are far different in my opinion than the regular Colombianas who join dating or marriage sites...or who go to Panama or Costa Rica looking for "regular" employment...not the sex trade. These are 2 different beasts here and should not be all grouped or generalized together.

yes there are many sincere, good hearted colombian woman here and in colombia etc.. that are honest and this guy went overboard, but i posted it just to get some of us to think about their motives and the scene.

The reasons for the Colombiana exodus from Colombia are quite simple and basic.

1) no decent paying jobs in Colombia even though they tend to be more highly educated than Ticas or other Central/South Americans.

2) Their men are more "macho" than most and dont support their women in general

3) these women are SOMEHOW more beautiful, passionate and comfortable with their sexuality than many other Latin countries. That puts them in high demand and makes it too easy to get into pay for play.

Additionally, the world clumps them all into the category of drug pushers, guerillas, and other unfair over generalizations. The current President is making great strides to clean up the country and make it more viable for Intl biz. I will be one of the first entering that market in short order (not that there arent gringos cleaning up there now).

Based on my broad positive experiences with them, I had to make sure what you were saying ...

Whether they be Colombianas, Ticas, Nicas...if they are pros...beware and dont buy. Just rent.
