Has the Dunn Inn fallen off the radar screen as a monger hotel with CRT discounts ?
I liked the breakfast there.

I don't think so. They are just low key and do a lot of non-monger business. When I have breakfast there I always see chicas coming down from an all nighter.

Stayed there on my last trip this past September. Definitely low key and on the quiet side. Enjoyed my stay. The staff are excellent along with the food superb. Can't go wrong staying there.

ask for the room that has the stained glass wall to the street. Very cool mood lighting at night.

My previous stay at the Dunn Inn, I had the room next to the stairs. No outside window but a sliding window facing the stairs. If you don't close the curtains, you are providing a show for all who uses those stairs   . All night long, I heard chicas and their high-heals...click-clack, click-clack, click-clack.

It's a nice low-key hotel with a great staff. A mixture of mongers and civilians stay there.

cheers,
Attila

If Magda is still behind the bar, say "Hi!" for me. Fine woman, excellent worker.

Dunn Inn is a can't go wrong hotel. Great staff, nice sports bar connected to it, no Tica fee, moderate free breakfast and coffee (but you can add to it for a few bucks) and it is in a good location with a close walk to everywhere of importance. Met some good people staying there in October and the house cabbie Sergio is one of a kind.

For my money .... LaAmistad is without a doubt the best deal in town.

Whitecat ..... I am hearing you. For a 65 YO almost anything under 30 is bangable 8)

Beautiful staff (how about Andrea. Is she just the sweetest ever?)
The maids are great, Rigo is awesome, and the bar rocks.
