I feel your pain, as I, too, lost big queso in the stock market. Altho, I cannot afford your total $7k, I have the used condoms from my last trip, that I was planning on cleaning up and reusing for my next trip--however, in the spirit of helping out a brother, I will donate them to your cause.

Farmer: i have helped out a lot of people in the past...and showed them a great time...i can not go back to them and ask for money back...that's just not right...

Jazzbo: $7000 is just an high end estimate; i also stated that I will give back any unused funds...if i do not spend it...i do not want to keep any extra left over money and will keep a tab on all the expenses...i am going to use the money to have a great time in CR...i don't want a little thing like money stop me from having a great time in CR...in my past life, money was no object and i spent more than $7k for one week in CR every time i came there...please help.

You posted this in the wrong section. Hell, you posted this in the wrong forum, this isn't the make-a-ho foundation. These guys cry over being asked for a $5 tip, you want $7K?

BTW-how the hell did you lose all your money in the stock market in the past 2 years? I mean if you said 2008, I'd believe you, but the Dow has doubled (8k to 16k) since April 2009. Diversify, my market-invested 401k is up 44% YTD.

Then again, since you are already planning a $2500 gift to the casinos, I think my question has been answered.

Orange: i know there are a lot of guys that cry over $5 tip...i am not asking anything from them...but there are also a lot of financially blessed guys who spend money like crazy on a daily basis...i was one of them and i used to hang out with other guys like me who would just throw money everywhere just to have a good time...when i had the money, I wouldn't let money get in the way of people's happiness...everyone around me would have a great time!!!

I lost all my money in stock market because I kept betting that the stock market falls...but it just kept going up and up...and when u buy put options or short the market, u can lose a lot of money very quickly.

I learned a valuable lesson...Good times don't last forever especially when u are making fast easy money...money comes quick and can go just as quickly!

Anunt-don't think about it as "used condoms".... it helps me to look at it more as recycling, and the cost savings at the end of the year is hard to ignore. We all have to survive somehow when a negative reality smacks us in the face

I am clearly asking for donations so that I can enjoy a week in CR because I can not afford to do so on my own right now.

As soon as i receive the full donation amount, I will book the trip and meet the people that donated in person in CR.
