Hi, my industry slows down heavily during December which makes it an ideal time to take a vacation. I'm wondering if prices go up during December due to less chicas during the holiday season, or more travelers.

Also, a quick google search shows more rain around that time--is it pretty bad?

nope ,,prices go down,they are giving it away...its christmass:))
on the serious side , if you are there a few days before or after Christmas the girls have started going home to their families. might be some slim pickings..but if you are there like 10 days before and after,you might actually have a little extra negotiation boost ,,either they are saving money for the trip or trying to build the bank back up after the trip...

Hotel prices in San Jose in December are a bargain. It is the dry season, so not much rain if any. You will find a warm welcome here in December. High 70's during day, low to mid 60's at night.
