If anyone is interested, we are going to do a walking circuit of the gulch MPs. Yes, I know traffic is bad on Friday, so we'll taxi the Paseo Colon area in good time.
We will meet up at Sportsmen's Lodge at 12pm, and venture forth.
Suggest any participants eat either a late breakfast or early lunch before the walk.
Targets are:
La Mansion - Erotica I, II, III - Relax - Idem - Eros - Illusiones (?) - 360 San Jose - 360 - Golden Girls - Kama Sutra - Muses - Krysis - Jetset 2 - Lilliam - Maison I, II - Castillo - Veronicas - Miramar (?) - VIPs - <and whatever else is missing from the map>

Some of these places are not going to suit some participants. (We all have different tastes in chicas.) At the least, you will know what is off of your list.

Now, as for the rules: there aren't any.
If you see a chica that you like, either pull the trigger and drop out of the walk, or get a name and location to return to on your own time.
If you get tired or bored, just bail. No hard feelings. This walk is for fun.
Be prepared for rain.

One warning: do not follow ol' Bashful across roads. Wait until the horns and tire screeching has stopped. I've nearly killed BB57 thrice to date, and I'll be aiming for a fourth on this day!

The walk is open to all, and no sign-up is needed. Just be at SL, noon and bring your best war stories for the journey.

You know that a lot of guys like to avoid CR during December, but I will have to say that if you are looking for the best variety of the year it would be December because all of the "non-pro" chicks come out to have money for December. And of course in my humble opinion I have seen some pretty stellar chicks walk in the SL in December never to be seen again. Well, until next December...

I really don't think you nee4d to worry about bringing your own, unless you are either exceptionally large or exceptionally small!

I look forward to meeting up with you guys for the walk, about half of these places I have never seen (I guess I just got stuck with my regular hang-outs)

There actually is a good reason for bringing your own condoms!! The condoms available to the chicas in the MPs or not very good--small and thick (most of them come out of China)--and not to the liking of most Gringos who are use to Trojans, Durex, and Crown!! I always carry my own-actually a few extras and if the chica is really good, I will give her the ones we don't use. I buy Crown on Amazon for about 15 cents each so giving the chica a few is nothing, saves them having to pay close to a dollar per condom and gives them a much better condom to use. I often tell them to save them for their Gringo customers!!!!!

Maybe not in some respects, but a group of guys walking with people who know the streets and the different locations is a lot better and safer than a single guy walking around looking (and being) lost. Nothing is perfect in an un-perfect world. Too large of a group, yes will draw unwanted attention. Too loud and noisy, and strangely dressed will also, whether one or 20 guys. But one can come here (for the chicas) and spend all their time in the 4-5 places in the gulch, which in my opinion is the most dangerous area in San Jose, or they can be adventurous, get out of the gulch, and experience the rest of San Jose and some of the nearly 100 other venues where there are chicas. In my opinion there are many, many places that are really worth the time and effort to see (some others , not so much). many places that most guys never even know exist!!!

Back when I was doing the walking tours on a regular bases there were a lot of local ex-pats who were very upset with me. They seemed to think that these out of the way places belonged solely to them and that bringing a lot of gringos to them would "ruin" them, "ruin" the chicas, and cause the prices to go way up. Well guess what??? NON OF THOSE THINGS HAVE HAPPENED!! All the places are still pretty much the same as they were 8 years ago-actually some are gone, some have improved, and there are many new, more upscale (and a few that are much higher priced) places that cater to primarily the Ticos (few Gringos even know about these places). The chicas, IMHO, have changed IN ALL places. They have learned from the other chicas, they have become more hardened, quicker; but is this due to gringos, or due to better and easier communication??? This is not the same backward, little country it was even 10 years ago!!!!! As for prices, there have been small increases (1 or 2 thousand colones) in most places over the last 5 years, but during the same time the cost of living here is up 100%. In other words based on the cost of living factor, the price of pu*sy is about 80% cheaper than 5 years ago!!! Best bargain in town!! :P :D  Truth be known, the biggest increases have been in the places that are totally or almost totally Tico. The Ticos do not blame those increases on us Gringos, so why should a small group of Gringo ex-pats blame the rest of us???

There is one thing that has affected the over-all cost. The practice of charging for 'extras" is totally a Tico thing and started primarily as a way for the chicas to make more money to cover the increased cost of living since the owners refused to raise prices. In almost all MPs, the chicas' cut is still exactly the same as it was 5-6 years ago!!! Strangely the gringos are more upset about the charging for "extras' than are the Ticos.

If he could just shuffle a little faster, the cars wouldn't stand a chance. :P

I'm going to change the tennis balls on his walking frame. They'll glide faster.

I'm more than happy to chip in for a van. Maybe LA has a van (or can arrange transportation) which we can rent for our adventure. A rented van, and driver, might address some punters' concerns about safety, and would also save time.

Count me in.

You guys are going to need a van to hold all the walkers and oxygen bottles

Saving some room for an EMT might be a good idea as well, one with a D-fib

Ask for the Golden discount

Does Wongs have an early bird special

Hotel woes!
For some time I have been trying to schedule a trip to the Gulch during the first week of December, but I wasn't certain I would be able to get away so I didn't make a hotel reservation. I figured it was still green season, so things wouldn't be crowded. Boy was I wrong! One hotel was able to give me a couple of the days, but not the 5th or 6th. Another had a room on the 5th, but not the 6th. At this point I will probably wing it, and hope to find a room on the 6 & 7 when I am in town. Problem is, check in time will be during the MP walk, assuming I can find something. And I need a plece to store my suitcase in the meantime. Any advice?
