You knew I would not be able to stay out of this, didn't you
Just some ramblings of a cluttered mind...........
Back in the days when radio was king, there was a well known show called "Fibber Mcgee and Molly" (they were famous for having a closet that when opened would spill its contents in a loud way, and Fibber would announce "Well, guess I need to get around to cleaning out that closet - one of these days!")
One of the characters <stay with me - I promise there is a point here somewhere

> on the show, Mr Oldtimer, was famous for remarking "Well, that ain't the way I heerd it!" after hearing someone make a statement or pronouncement- well, concerning *******, I'll echo Mr Oldtimers sentiments; its not the story I heard, or better put, not the full story I heard. And I'll leave it at that b/c frankly its not my affair or concern.
I have no ax to grind with *******, met him a couple of times, and had pleasant conversations each time - but he is the kind of person who seems to attract drama and controversy (Kinda like some other guys down here) - and one of those people - since I'm on a radio theme I might as well continue with it - you are never quite sure, as Paul Harvey said, if you are getting the "rest of the story"
Now as to 2 of my fellow posters who could have been a bit more temperate in expressing their dissatisfaction with one of our moderators - c'mon guys, post sober and express your selves better. You both are well capable of it.
That said, what Admin 3 did is what someone who wants to create a "sock puppet" does - create an alternative entity in the form of Don Carlos. I'm not even disagreeing that its a bad thing to have - in this case - 2 board names (after all, you had Superman, and Clark Kent

) - the issue - to me and I'm sure others - was the lack of disclosure
At the very least, you should have disclosed the "relationship" - what all the drama of late would tell me is the board has some issues it needs to address, and not just on the technical side of the house. And its a board so not everything - but will agree with you 100% that some things - are best handled via PM - in fact, I'm using the PM function more and more lately.
On the issue of censorship, I had one post edited; I used an accepted term to describe someone who posts needlessly provacative posts with the goal of stirring up dissent and trouble - its not a curse word, and described the poster well - IMHO.
Just some thoughts from a long time VIP and frequent poster who likes the board, and enjoys posting.
