I thought about it and it's not fair to the guys in the pool for me to drop out mid-season so I will continue running the pool and finish it. But that's the only thread I will read or post in. I will read PM's.

To make it easier logistically, the Thursday games are excluded from this contest. It's in the rules on page 1.

There are no Saturday games this year.

Not really understanding the Saturday midnight deadline. In every other sports betting venue, the cutoff is game time Sunday. Many people like to get up Sunday, watch/read the pre-game stuff, then make picks.

You think that's gonna help you?

I'm ok with a Sunday 12 noon deadline (eastern), that's 1 hour before the games begin. Lets hear opinions....

Orange, You give a lot of time and effort to this contest and I am sure we all appreciate it, I know I do. Your rules are reasonable and easy to follow. If midnight Saturday is better for you, I see no reason to change. If it makes no difference, why not. I missed this week, I started to get out of bed at 11:45 Saturday night to post, but my chica asked for 10% of my winnings, by the time I got her dressed and out the door, it was too late. She did me a favor, I would have been 1-3 AGAIN!

The deadline makes no difference to me. My picks are still gonna suck. I'm ok with setting the deadline as Sunday 1pm EST. The games begin between 1:05-1:15, so 1pm is fair. This way you can get all your last minute reports from the "experts" on the pregame show.

Note:
-We will use the CRT forum clock as the official time, not your alarm clock which runs 10 minutes late. Each time you post, you will notice the time in the upper right corner of your posts. Depending on your settings in the forum control panel, the clock will display the time based on your chosen time zone, but the actual time will not be different.

For the sake of friendly competition and goodwill, I will count the 3 late picks this week, but going forward the Sunday 1pm deadline will be strictly enforced. Honestly, the way most of us are doing, I don't think being able to pick the games after the first quarter would help much.
