I took a favorite bungee jumping in March. I negotiated 250 from 300 from a Colombian chica at DR for TLN. I decided to pass because I wasn't looking to pay more than 200, but I took her back for ST for 100.. I ended up giving her 100 Colones because I was drunk and confused with all this dollar talk. After that I refused to talk US currency in CR. I always talked in local currency in other countries. Anyways.. on the bright side.. She was willing to come back for TLN the next couple of nights for 100 Colones. She also didn't charge me for hanging out the day with her (did a day trip to Jaco.. No sex but I paid for expenses).

So if a chica likes you and you are just hanging out and not in the cama all day, there is likely no charge.

I have found a correlation between baby sitter fees and how much she asks for. If you are trying to line up a TLN at 6p expect to pay extra, many of these girls think that she will get multiple customers and you are taking them out of the rotation, opposed to later in the night when here prospects for a payday are much less. I have had multiple encounters where she actually wanted to stay the night at regular rates. She often gets a better bed to sleep in, a place to get a hot shower and breakfast in the morning. I have also had experiences where the sitter could not spend the night and had to leave even when I offered to pay more money.
I have never had one ask for money when on a day trip or doing some other tourist activity, like many of us they are happy to get away from the gulch.
