Can someone give me a review/thoughts on this room? Kinda pricey but wondering if worth the cost. So Far I have stayed at Mono Suite and Leopardo. Is Oso Grande directly next to Mono? Also anyone know if SL finally changed the mattress in Mono?...lol...it was the worst. Overall I love SL. Sorry for the multiple questions.

El Leon is a nice room. Huge bath with nice garden tub.

OG is next to the Mono it has two beds and a huge shower.

Saw the mattress truck out in front of SL in April. Don't know if that room was one of them that got replaced.

PM True Sportsman, he will know for sure.

I took a photo of them loading/unloading as I thought it was funny as hell (if only those old mattress could talk, and those new ones have no idea what they are in for).

The mattress in Mono and Toro Negro were both horrible. I hope they replaced them both.

Gentlemen,

Every mattress in Sportsmens Lodge was changed out for new in March-April 2013.

Thanks,

Bill

El Leon is my favorite room in SL. King bed. Large Shower and separate whirlpool. Great bathroom overall. Sitting area with multiple windows that gets alot of air if you don't want constant air conditioning. No downsides except perhaps the traffic noise in the morning on weekdays. Only real downside is the price but I think the room is worth it..

Also, I am almost positive that Oso Grande is, when coming out of Mono, across the hall to the left.

I've stayed in Leon a bunch of times. Absolutely my favorite room there. You should find PLENTY of comments and reviews about that room using the search function. I LOVE the oversized jacuzzi tub. I've dated many a Tica in that tub.

Leon is awesome room if you like a huge bathroom. I know a lot of guys have already said that, just adding another thumbs-up to the mix. Also a very nice little sitting room off of the bedroom for entertaining guests. Very close to the mansion lounge and bar. The bar is rarely open, but you can still grab a drink up front and take it back to the lounge. 2 TV's back there that they might turn on for you if you promise to be quiet (no guarantees, talk to True Sporstman).

And the Thai massage facililty is right there also.
