Spent the last two nights at L'Amistad. What can I say? The food was as good as I have eaten anywhere. I had 7 mixed drinks Saturday and 6 yesterday not counting couple of beers and several bottles of water. Last night the shrimp and lobster were served with an alfredo sauce on a bed of pasta. The night before I had the porkchop with a mushroom sauce over creamed potatoes. Hazel is still giving fantastic massages. The staff are hard working and eager to please. Great job, Matt and Don.

Question- Do you have to eat meals at a certain time? Just wondering how tight the meal window is? Could be inconvenient to make it back for lunch/dinner if you're out having fun elsewhere.

Just wanted to thank Matt, Rudy, Jose, Jenny, Carlos, and the rest of the staff for a wonderful stay at La Amistad Jun 12 -17. I chose the all-inclusive special and was blown away by the food. Jose is fantastic chef, best meals in a long time.

The special is definitely worth it, even if you're a light drinker like myself. Surf and Turf was my favorite. The DR was kind of slow and I was disappointed in the tica selection. I think the food was the highlight of the trip. :)

I stay at the Amistad & do like the food there but if that's the highlight of your trip something is seriously wrong

Unless he's talking about Tica pie....

Sin, I see you joined CRT in Nov, 2003, My first visit to CR was Dec, 2003, those were different days...crime was much lower, not much violent crime, girls charged $50 at HDR, I don't know if ZonaBlue existed yet, I paid $35 per hour at NF, girls didn't dare ask for a cien unless it was for the full day or night...

By the way, if you stay there, get a full body massage (non sexual but damn close) from Hazel, you'll feel 20 years younger....

Sin city

I have to respectfully disagree with you and here is why;

first this may not apply to guys who have not been hit economically. The last few years have been tough and had to lay off employee's and such.

and again it seems everywhere you turn everyone is trying to gouge you for money with little increase in value.

the airline prices are more and more expensive.. it cost me almost $500 bucks from florida which used to hover around $300 to $380

The king and his administration keep looking for ways to tax and disable our small business.......

my recent visit to la mona lisa is a perfect pricepoint example

and in my opinion the sportsmens has grown to the point where it reminds me of the ole days of walking into a blockbuster video location ( if you remember those lol) and you get that topical "hey.. howya doing... how's your coin collection" mandated from management. :)

which is normal path of successful businesses these days. especially after the honeymoon periods.

all the way to the end of your trip when the gov squeezes an extra $1.00 to your exit tax :)

The very fact that I can now relax in a great setting and pay $79and have everything included is like a burden of stress not having to think about. you know when you have a few cocktails and you lose yourself in the moment with a pretty lady and find a large bill that you had no idea where the hell all those drinks went :)

When I have a nice chickie I want to spend time with I dont have to worry about whats missing in the "in room fridge" metaphorically if you understand what I am saying.

so now I am free to invest my whole attention to

a.) finding the beautiful gems floating around the area.

b.) hanging out with some of the fine people I have meet and have fun.. Damn it

again this message may not pertain to the guys that still cash flowing like sincity and mucho Gusto LOL

MG sorry I missed you on your birthday!!

This was a great move in my opinion because now la amistad is the only place I will stay.

I am looking forward to my next visit already booked...

and Matt if you are reading this

watch out because I will give you a big fat kiss when I see you

BUT not on the lips!!!!

mis dos centavos

If you have issues with the train noise it just means you did not drink enough before you went to sleep. I stayed for 3 nights and never even knew there was a train until I saw it hit a taxi one afternoon. Then again I usually get to sleep between 3 and 5am and have drank enough to sleep through a blow job....

All

We pay 3 guards in the morning til 10 am. The Train normally does not make any noise. if you are in the front of the building and are a light sleeper you may feel the vibration when the work train passes. For all those concerned, myself and Don will Comp the room the first night if you have a problem.

Matt

I was just in 308, pretty close to the tracks. Train noise was never an issue with me.
