the members of this barely civilized tribe can be detected by their bright flower shirts or their shirts with different types of fish on them. They usually wear old style shorts with gigantic thick wallets hanging out of the back pockets. They have the ability and the desire to imbibe large amounts of their favorite beer, then will burp and fart in unison to signal their approval.

It is recommended to not be downwind of them as their release of methane through flatulence can suck the oxygen and leave you gasping and gagging...

I read a story somewhere, sorry, can't remember the exact details, but in WWII, American soldiers encountered Sicilian ho's who asked for $1 per session, they supposedly misinterpreted the language and payed $10, thinking this is logical in terms of American spending. The Sicilian hos were ecstatic, and allegedly word spread and $10 became the norm...

When I first came to Costa Rica in 2003, NF charged $35 and a girl was excited with a $5 tip. If you went to the Del Rey, $40 to $50 was the norm and I never had any of them ask for $100. I could get them to spend the day with me as I traveled the country for $100 per day.

they are suckering tourists for $100 who are probably used to paying $200 to $300 or more in the U.S. and those of us who either live here or are experienced visitors have to suffer the consequences...

Paseo Colon MP's still offer good bargain basement prices and these girls will visit you in your hotel room for $50 to $60 plus "taxi" fees and are APPRECIATIVE !!!

As Cujo would say, what others pay shouldn't affect what you pay. If the chica really wants to be with you, she won't gauge you. At times, it can be true, but the majority of the time, chicas will go with the overpaying tourist rather than a "cheap" (in their minds) local.

I have to agree with most of that statement. No ONE person OR SEVERAL people are killing what people think the rates should be. It is all what you think it is worth to you. OR what price is the girl willing to LET you pay to get on her. When it comes down to simple math, she will go with the guy who offers more money. But math is not their strong point normally.

COSTA RICA DOESN'T SUCK! ... at least from my measly experience. Hell, it works for me!

As for the rising costs, keep in mind that inflation has doubled the cost of living there since 2006. As much as it doesn't make economic sense, too much quantity actually increases the cost, as a girl may go 2 or 3 days without a pull due to competition.
Not only that, but as the economy heals in the US, more guys are willing to spend cien for a good time. That ruins it for the rest who remember the good ol' days, but times march onward.

Yes... if we are paying by the "kilo" and the average Delrey chica weighs 10 kilos (22 lbs) more than she did in 2006 (maybe more!)... then yes prices are up!! ....and btw ...she is also 7 years older! LOL.
