I have to agree with VB on this subject. I observed more obnoxious behavior this trip than I have in the past. I had some discussions on this subject last week as well with several others.

Why is it necessary to use such derogatory terms in reference to the women who are working. Most of these women wouldn’t be “working” if their situations didn’t dictate they do so.

Just because they are in this situation does that make it necessary to treat them with disrespect? I think not.

I have to say that most all of the guys I have met from this site are great guys and I enjoy spending time talking and sharing meals with them.

Some of these women are very sweet and are enjoyable to spend time with as some have pointed out here.

Some of this behavior also is displayed when dealing with the waitress and others who do not appreciate or want that disrespect.

I feel that I will get a better quality experience with the chica that I show respect and kindness too, than by calling them names or treating them poorly.

El Ciego, that list was just too funny. I don't think anyone on this board would try #7 :D

This thread is way off course. It could possibly be the stupidest thread I have ever read.

Psychman, I have read all of your posts. I have come to the conclusion that you are really into the tossed salad.

As for the girls. Most of them WOULD NOT be working if they didn't have to do so. I've said it before and I'll say it again, most, if not all of them, hate the work. And, as stated in the past..solicitation of a sexual act is a violent crime here in the US. I actually happen to agree with this thinking after knowing a working girl for a long time. Just because we go to Costa Rica, it doesn't necesarily change the dynamics of the situation.

So, how is that for throwing this thread a loop. As for the author of the thread, seems I have no useful comments.

Each jurisdiction is unique so where you reside that may be the case. In my experience it is usually a misdemeanor.

A "violent crime" is usually a felony and simple solicitation does not usually meet the standard required for a felony.

Well now were going off on ANOTHER tangent. :) or 2...
You've known this one girl and her story, but how can that justify a blanket statement like this? I know several chicas that enjoy what they do, one told me she loves to have sex at least once/day. Sure she wouldn't be doing what she does if it weren't for the money, but she goes with who she likes and seems to have it pretty good. I know another that asked me to bring her a vibrator next trip, she loves sex too and doesn't seem to hate her job. The ones that really hate it don't do it for long, so I just don't see that they all "hate the work."
And solicitation a violent crime??? You must be kidding.

Boy, I hope this one dies quick. As for me, they're all ladies, and virgins until they prove different.

Dapanz1, guilty as charged. About this thread though, sometimes it seems we get on tangents where we (myself included) have the open space to think about what this mongering means to us, in relationship to the chicas. What does it mean to use someone's body for our own pleasure if we believe, as Dapanz1 states, that they hate their work? What does that make us? Now, I am not saying that it makes us any less human, or bad guys, or anything of the sort. I just think that such feelings and notions are bound to creep in, and such is the nature of what we have been reading. Or, I am just full of S(^t and we should get back to the topic, which is how to throw in a curve ball or two when we desire some change. For me, the key seems to be having a variety of experiences- some GFE, some Straight ahead S(X, some PSE, three somes, bla bla. This, plus the commeraderie of good guys, makes for good times for me.

In an attempt to return to the original question, which seems to be, "Now that I've done a wide variety of things in Costa Rica, what is there left to do/discover/conquer?

Although my previous post to this thread was rather tongue-in-cheek (no, I'm not talking about salad tossing, Psychman, don't get excited), my point was this:

I read the forums religiously and daily, and I have seen numerous posts where very experienced guys discover something new. Even a real "pro monger" like Boogie (and I take his claims with a large grain of salt) can find new things to do in C.R., new challenges.

For me part of the impetus to explore is that I want to scout new opportunities for other members of CRT; that is, I'd like to get the "scoop" on new and undiscovered restaurants, hotels, entertainment opportunities...and then bring them to the group. If/when Boogie gets involved with CRT (VIP membership, reading more of the posts, etc.) perhaps he can become that kind of explorer and actually discover new territory for all of us.

Any future discussions about monger ethics, whoreticulture ethics, tourist behavior and the relative evil of certain vocabulary might better be moved off this thread and taken elsewhere. IMHO.

I am preparing a little smack talk for that section. Stay tuned.

First of all, let me apologize to anyone who was offended by the use of the word "whore". Trust that I did not intend for it to be derogatory toward the women in CR or the Del Rey. Thanks for the advice, the word "whoer" will be used properly for now on. I understand treating the women pros & non-pros with respect. You don't get freebies in Del Ray without treating them with kindness and humor.

El Ciego, thanks for the ideals. I have 3 things I will try to do.

1) Go to the strip club again, and see if my experience is good enough to get me a taxi, drinks and sex for less that $50. From what i remember in the strip club, spend alot more than that without sex, in my first visit to CR.

2)Have Lunch, 2 beers and sex for less than 17.75, I like that ideal as well.

3) My last one to become VIP and do my 1st review and post it. Wish me luck, I leave to CR June 21st.

I need help with #3 on my list. When you registar for VIP, what comes up on your credit card, and can you have yout vip card sent to a different address from your credit card statement???

Also, are there any other places that have not been reviewed in a while, that anyone would like to have reviewed??? Let me know and i'll try to get to it.

Boogie, PM Admin1 for what gets posted on your CC. I do know you can pick up your membership card at Zona Blue. It will not be mailed unless you request so.
