My two cents worth. The biggest change from the 'good old days' is really the downturn in gringo sex tourists. Whether or not there will be a larger Colombian presence, the number of customers and the money they have to spend will not change significantly. I wish the Mona Lisa all the luck in the world, but from what I've seen and heard, the number of visiting mongers is not growing at any substantial pace.
Having myself considered a trip from here to Medellin, I can tell you the cost is high. With Medellin being the 'new' in-spot to go, at least according to several mongers I have overheard or read what they have written, I think it's quite possible there will not be a great influx of 10s at affordable prices even if visa restrictions are eliminated. IF they come here, it's not for the scenery, it's because they believe they can make significantly more money here. There's a sort of thermostat effect going on here. If more Colombiana 10s come and the increased 'supply' results in falling prices, the flow of 'imports' will go down because the price differential between their 'home' and CR will have narrowed.
Unless the demand rises here, I don't see the supply rising.
I agree 100%. However, hopefully as the economy improves more gringos will visit the gulch and bring more chicas out to work.
