Our "friend" China is currently holding military maneuvers off of Hawaii, gaining a foothold here in Costa Rica and other Latin countries with "gifts", expanding their military and navy exponentially and not helping pressure N. Korea to behave. They have increased their friendship and cooperation with Russia, saber rattling with Japan over some disputed islands, invaded Japan's airspace with fighter jets and basically are working to get a stranglehold on the imploding U.S. economy.

Their economy has slowed but is still expanding, ours is imploding, albeit slowly at this time. Our population is 300 million, and the % of the population non working and enjoying government benefits is exploding, their population is over a billion and their % of the population working and contributing is expanding.

Learn Spanish ? Might be a good idea to learn Chinese....just sayin'...

I am not sure if this story I pasted on China's espionage afforts via computers above goes thru, so you can click and read, but you can google the story. China steals 300 billion plus from us thru cyber security breaks, accesses our top military secrets and weapons design info as well. Don't we have computer people who can fight this ??? don't we have a government who gives a sh*t ? Yes on the first question, obviously "no" on the second...
