I have been one of the foolish types who have been in some pretty rough areas of Desampa, but I had never heard of Torremolinos until the tragic death of Steve Flesch. I looked on Google maps and couldn't find it. Anybody know where it is, if it's north, south, east or west of the main part of town?

I think that it is south of the center of town towards the hills. I rented a house in Loma Linda of Desamparados and walked around to the center even at night and didn't have problems. I rather liked the place in that I found great produce and meat at reasonable price.

As I said in a post elsewhere here, I would never do that again after reading about this poor fellow.
