officials are advising to carry your passport today and tomorrow. They won't accept copies if you are stopped.

The police presence has disappeared and the roads are open around La Amistad...

Also, walked through 2 checkpoints during the day today and wasn't asked for any ID, told them I was returning to my hotel.

The Sportsmens Lodge as always was open yesterday and will be open today for the boxing and The Kentucky Derby etc.....
