Wow! The cheapest from the west coast is $1200. I'd be there every other weekend if I lived in Florida.

Thanks, MP :)

I wondered - also just e mailed Jet Blue, as a matter of fact - about the possibility of flight books whereby if you pay in advance, how much if you paid in advance and bought a book <likely all done now on line, but who knows> multi flights would be - they have offered them in the past on certain routes; no idea if they plan to on FLL - SJO, but they might as a promo since they are offering new service.

I'll post what they tell me, but I'm really looking forward to their entry in FLL - they offered service out of Orlando but its not practicle for me to drive 3.5 hrs to fly them for a 2.25 hr flight.

Re your comment.....Maybe not 'Luv  - the pricing has been all over the place - I don't want to open the "how flights are priced" can of worm's, but lately - I'm looking b/c I want to come down sometime in April if possible - and I'm seeing close to $700 on AA out of MIA and $350 +/- on Spirit (just for the flight; not including a seat assingment or a carryon     )

While $1200 is high even from the West Coast, it makes a little more sense vs MIA or FLL for a 2 hr 25min flight. But then pricing a flight - even with good explanations about how they do it and the logic <so called> behind it from Srlim, who really knows his stuff on this topic - it still escapes me :)

Well, that was quick :(

From their e mail:

Thank you for contacting JetBlue. At this time, we do not have any plans to offer an All-You-Can-Jet
pass.

Wish their answer was different.....

Now Spirit has a sale and it is $229 r/t from FLL! Of course you have luggage to pay for on them. One thing I know I will be going back in October one of of them.

Here's a link to a Jetblue tool for finding the best rate. I use it to plan each trip.

I'm flying JetBlue next month, direct flights from Orlando to San Jose and back. I booked about 2 weeks ago and the price I paid was $298. For that price, I'd rather pay the money than use FF miles on AA!

MG

Thats about what I have always paid the last couple of years on MCO-SJO. But I've been looking for the last month and the lowest I see is $190 one way and that goes from now all the way thru September. How did you find that?

Don't know. Wanted to book a trip. Got on JetBlue's website. Put in my dates. The price came up. I entered my CC number. Done deal....
