We saw the girl afterwards and she was in shock, embarrassed, and really pissed crying. We knew the guy who did it. He seemed cool, but made a bad call. He was lucky he wasn't killed.

The whole issue is kind of creepy to me as was last week's newbie's thread who queried the same. Not worthy of being discussed on this gentlemen's board, even using that term loosely, or with anyone I'd like to have a beer with.

I disagree that the thread should be deleted. People should know that this activity is one that's highly disapproved of by both the membership here and by the chicas. Just because a subject is a negative one it doesn't mean that people shouldn't be educated on it. Knowing how people feel about it encourages better behaviour from those who are ignorant of good etiquette, and as such even threads like this have value.

yes sir. i think open discussion on a subject like this can bring to light some of the negative fallout that might not have been considered by the guy considering it.
people tend to forget that some of the guys here might have never visited a brothel let alone left the country.
certainly 98% of society would agree its poor form to secretly videotape a sex act w a stranger.
maybe the op has a fantasy of seeing himself doing his best hedgehog.
i think the responses here likely made a difference in how he sees it.
seems to me like thats the point of having a board like this.

LD and Shadowman make a good point being, I think fairly restated, is that men who want to record sex videos of themselves with unsuspecting women in CR will learn from this board that this ain't cool, and that our posts will serve as a deterrent. Makes perfect sense but I think with these "types", it'll fall on deaf ears.

My point is they know that it is illegal in every state in the Union for a reason, and probably Canada; and forget the law, they know it's creepy sneaky to the umteenth degree to secretly record a person's most private, otherwise they wouldn't be asking about it.

So this particular OP that wants to know about secret peepholes in backpacks or the guy last week, who was way ahead of the game in terms of slueth video technology, these types don't care about popular disdain--they know without board comments what the norm is--they know it's creepy. It's a certainty that they will ignore warning and advisory posts from normal hounds. As I posted last week in the thread with the first hidden camera guy. After 10 guys posted saying consent only, he then changed his tune and posted OK, I'll only video with consent.

I call bullshit. Both of these guys post an inquiry about sneaking a video and both showing knowledge and intent and the wherewithall of sneaking a video. They're going to get their video.

i will go against the grain here. i see nothing at all wrong with secretly taping as long as it is for your own viewing afterwards. risks in all parts of life and in this day and age, the possibly and actuality shouldn't be a surprise considering it is a business relationship that exists between client and provider. of course, it all changes when emotions come into play.

as far as this site defining what is right and wrong among the 1000s of mongers that visit CR is wishful thinking. first you have to assume they even read this site and if they do most are look for logistical information, not what to or not do. many make their own rules according to their own values so this site isn't going to change anyone (in my opinion). years ago, when this site was hopping, many assumed too much that every monger in CR was a member of this website yet when i asked guys if they knew, they had no clue and some guys, because they were not hardcore mongers, said stuff like i'm not reading that sh$t because they viewed hardcore mongers as low-life types. don't kill the messenger - right or wrong, that is what i ran into. i guess, imagine how you feel about hardcore hookers.... there are guys that feel the same way toward hardcore mongers (hardcore because if you belong to a website like this, what else could you be in their mind?).

I am living in San Jose and ran across another guy living here and one day he told me hid a camera and videotaped the girls. Now I want nothing to do with this guy. He is just too creepy.
