I think that most would agree that we pay more attention to the commercials during the Superbowl than the rest of the year. As usual there was no shortage of commercials which depicted the white male as a bumbling fool who simply cannot do anything right. The female is usually shown rolling her eyes and making some sort of condescending comment about her loser husband.

A guy can't even have a few beers and watch the game anymore without the feminists getting their shots in. Is it any wonder we like to visit the so called "backwards" countries.

As an aside, did you notice how many commercials there were for CBS sitcoms or tv shows? All that means to me is those were 30 second spots CBS didn't sell and had to eat them with their own filler.

In "Beavis and Butthead" and "King of the hill", Mike Judge was making fun of the fall of the American male. Really the fall of working class men, but even in the corporate culture, males have to neuter themselves, sort of "women in disguise" to succeed. If your a working class male, it isn't a very pretty picture.
