Is there a store / Kiosk near the Gulch that I can print photos from a memory card or flash drive? Looking to printing 4x6, 5x7 or 8x10. What is the aprox price per print. If none downtown how about the mall area?

There is a shop that does what you want on Avenida Central (the pedestrian mall) .

It is roughly within a block or two of the back side of the Grand Hotel Costa Rica, on the opposite side of Ave Central from the back of the hotel.

The price is pretty cheap. The clerks work the machines using your memory card. They will edit and crop for you.

By far the best place to get prints and framing done is JBP Reyma. It's a block and a half west of HLH on av9 between c1 & c3. This is where professional photographers in CR go. Quality and prices are both excellent. 4x6 prints are c316; 5x7 are c531; 8x10 are c1582. They'll do prints all the way up to 44x66.

If you're doing them as a gift for a favorita, get their "bastidor" framing. It's really classy and costs c4875 for 8x10.

The two sons of the owner work there and speak excellent English.

Thanks for the info. I have shots from Halloween at Sportsmen's that I may have printed when I'm back next month.

Am I really reading that correctly? For one 4x6 print is 65 cents. I get them printed here in the US at Walgreens for 19 cents, and sometimes less when they have a special.

That's what it says on their price list. Another case of things costing more in CR. Looks like Flabuck ought to go to Walgreen's. :)
