Masterpago was a pain in the ass getting an account set up with them, at least when I did it a while back. Had to fax them my passport and some other seemingly other unnecessary jump thru hoops bs when alll your doing is using a credit card for $1, then had to wait a day for the password to come (123456--wow-so unique!) But, once set up it's easy.
Later, I was also able to do it direct thru ICE's website (govt run CR cell phone co) but the link I had for them now just kicks me over to MasterPago. Maybe someone has a better link, but that one was really good because it gave you the name of the person linked to the phone--so you could check on a chica if you had her #--probably useless info anyway--but maybe not.
I think Master Pago has a live chat link and that may help.
I did see that LlamaCR site, seemed reasonable, but I think the minimum recharge was $5 US.
If all else fails, have a friend go to the pharmacy or another of their 1,000 recharge locations and recharge it for 25 cents, all they need is your tel #, nothing elswe, and then you are good for 120 days.
