I take the bus from the Coca Cola Terminal. It costs about $4 each way and takes about 2 hours.

Or split the difference and do Grayline. They are comfortable and $35. Going next weekend myself. Good luck, maybe you will find a tagalong with someone already going.

I plan on checking with transport when I get there I need to buy him a beer for the help he gave with hotel backyard. I'll be in San Jose a week before the beach trip so no big rush. I put on my tico watch when im down there it's always 1/4 to mañana or half past latter
