Best unsolicited advice I would give the Big Dog and this in sincere. If you are 100% legal I would work your concept through other forums and avenues. The "monger" business is the most horrible market you will ever deal with and is going to do nothing but stress you out. Always remember all the problems a buddy of mine in the fishing industry had with them. He wasn't against playing with the girls, hell he hit the Del Rey himself, but he said they were the worst of all types to deal with. Cheap, would blow all money on pu*sy and complain about every other nickel and dime. Good luck as it is a good concept you have.
I don't know, TW - SOME mongers are assholes - but not all are cheap, clueless, and stupid (candidly, I'm neither - and your proclivities in one area don't cross over to another, if you take my point

)
I hear sometimes "Joe is a nasty old prick" <well I knew "Joe" in his 20's - he was a nasty
young prick, never mid it carried through to his late 50's

)> or "Mike is a cheap old Phuck" <maybe, but he was a cheap young Phuck too>
Mongers range from cheap stupid assholes, to really good, responsible guys - I suspect you know this, and while your friend is free to have whatever beliefs he wishes, I don't like him categorizing our group as he did - just my HO

Oh....again agree w/ ID 100% - but also to Sid, in any business, especially one with your business model, you have to expect for a variety of reasons, guys not to pay you - to me, its bad behavior, shows cluelessness, but I could imagine someone from a non tipping culuture not doing so - and i realize your point was not the lack of a tip, but the lack of someone showing up, and no explanation or contact - an asshole, IOW.
If you are on more than one board, it certainly opens the possibility that its not a CRT member to begin with, but I kinda doubt it - so eith out the Phucker, or chalk it up to have a business model that easily lends itself to being scammed.
