Best unsolicited advice I would give the Big Dog and this in sincere. If you are 100% legal I would work your concept through other forums and avenues. The "monger" business is the most horrible market you will ever deal with and is going to do nothing but stress you out. Always remember all the problems a buddy of mine in the fishing industry had with them. He wasn't against playing with the girls, hell he hit the Del Rey himself, but he said they were the worst of all types to deal with. Cheap, would blow all money on pu*sy and complain about every other nickel and dime. Good luck as it is a good concept you have.

I have not seen him complain about someone not tipping him. This is what he said in this thread:



He posted about one or more people intentionally sending him to the airport to pick up a fictitious person. That is a completely different scenario then a person not tipping him for the service he provided.

As to those who say just forget about it and move on I disagree. Outing them will not compensate you for the time and money you wasted making trips to the airport to pick up a person who did not exist nor will it compensate you for the extra work you now have to put in to ensure your requests for service are legitimate. It will however let the members know of two individuals who should we ever meet them when they journey to Costa Rica they are to be avoided and not allowed to share in our knowledge base or comradeship.

Sid mentioned that he participates in another forum and offers his service there also. I am also a member of that forum and have never seen anything but very enthusiastic endorsements of his service from those on that forum who have used his service. Those folks are not going to hotels in San Jose they are traveling to and from home which sometimes is quite a journey and often is at a very early or very late hour in the day yet he is always there and with a smiling friendly attitude.

Find that in a San Jose taxi driver who is just as likely trying to cheat you as he is trying to have you think he is a graduate of the "kamikaze taxi driver school".

Sid is providing a service that we all should try to make sure he continues. Let a few "bad apples" cause him to abandon his service and we are all losers and two jerks are responsible, OUT THEM!

If you are on more than one board, it certainly opens the possibility that its not a CRT member to begin with, but I kinda doubt it - so eith out the Phucker, or chalk it up to have a business model that easily lends itself to being scammed.

Without looking back I don't believe he "complained" per se.

He just mentioned he was on that other site, mainly used by retirees(?), who (understandably) weren't the biggest tippers,,,,,,,

Irish Drifter your comments, while not always diplomatic, are good examples of pure reason and objective thought. Outing the individuals in this case might be the correct thing to do if one can be certain they are in fact the guilty parties. Knowledge is power and that kind of knowledge might help others decide who they can trust as a wing man if they ever came into contact with either party. Of course when we come across one another in social situations we seldom introduce ourselves by our handles

I appreciate everyone's advise, applause, comments and criticism. I think I have the situation handled. Just a learning process. Just on new guys, I will have a safety net in place so I don't make blank trips to SJO. I am striving to give people here something a little different without hurting their pocketbook, so they will have more money left in their pockets. I do understand that positive word of mouth is the best advertisement, therefore I appreciate all your comments, good and bad. Sorry I haven't responded in the last 2 days, just been busy. I would out them, Yes we had a difference of opinion awhile back but I think we got over that we were both reading wrong stuff into the posts LOL which happens so often, I also use Hushmail exclusively and have for years. it's a paid for service so I don't think you can use that against them as all the free stuff can be used using an anonomizer and I am not a tech geek.

But as others have said if I ever get lucky enough to come a visiting I will use you if none other than to meet and say howdy.

Well, let me answer those messages.......yes, I was going to CR on that date and happened to be traveling when the majority of them came into my various email/pm accounts.....and no, I do not travel with an internet device shoved the Phuck up my ass....and even if I did, I'd be watching some phucking gay porn on it rather than checking my email.

arriving at the sorry ass third world, tico hell hole exit on the lower level, I did not see any phucking driver, sign or hear anyone calling out C-dude!, Johnny!, motherfucker! or any other acknowledgement of my arrival.......nevertheless, I wandered around the crowd for 30 minutes until I threw in the towel and took a tico taxi ride....I even tipped the tico...so cheapness is not an issue here...if i wanted to be cheap, I would have taken a 50 cent bus ride into town.

then after finally arriving home after my travels, I find pm's and emails asking me wtf happened and if I work for some phucking sorry ass third world piece of phucking shit competitor....yes, that is exactly what the Phuck I do after trying to either exist enjoying the view from the balcony of my foreclosed condo in beautiful the Phuck downtown SoFla or busting my ass day and night up north.....

let me make this clear, I don't give a phucking rat's ass what anyone here thinks...including grandma......

all I know is that I arrived, walked out of the lower level exit and nobody was there.....but, since you now claim that your buddy and another driver did indeed show up at the airport, I will find a way to make good for their troubles/expense.

Had OneLuckyDogg pick my friend and I up this Thursday when we flew into SJ. He took us to Wally World to get some drinks for the room then took us to SL. Very professional and a cool guy. All services that were mentioned were delivered.

Herman, good question....It's because there was a huge crowd out there and the drivers split up in order to find our guy who couldn't be found. Bob, my other driver, rode with our Van Driver. That's why we had 2 drivers there. Hope that makes sense to you brother Herman.
