American Senator Bob Menendez gets caught patronizing hookers in the Dominican Republic. The Chicas went public because Menendez apparently paid them substantially less than the agreed price.

A couple of months ago Obama's secret service shortchanged some Chicas in Cartagena. The gringos involved in both of these scenarios above learned some hard lessons because of their behavior.

First of all if the Chica delivers what she promised, pay her the price you agreed upon! Second of all If you are somebody who can't risk a scandal, it is probably worth the money to get rid of her/shut her up.

I don't recommend paying a Chica the full price if she is a scammer because it breeds bad behavior. Sometimes though you have to evaluate the situation and make a judgement call.

Yep, it hurts but I caved in once back in the day. Not talking alot of money on these snafus, really only pride. Not worth the inevitable hassle, the scene, a potential hotel problem. I've heard of cops getting involved. Or a sneaky revengeful act, whatever. Good screening eliminates this 99% of the time. But like Sheen says, he pays them to leave. I think sometimes it's worth to pay them even if you're not happy. But most of them don't pull theat baloney, maybe not the greatest performance, but $$ conflict issues haven't been posted much here.

Guys that live down there with good Spanish and balls and are in their home field may say Phuck it and piss on her. If it happened to me again, it probably won't, I'm alot hipper now then I was way,way back then, but if it did I'd still probably cave or at least negotiate something. Too lazy, too paranoid, don't need the hassle I can chalk up to a bad day.

Just read about Senator Menendez after your post this am. Read a few on-line news papers, doesn't sound like they "got em" like they had the SS guys, nothing corroborating the 2 girls (yet) othen each other:"Offered $500, paid them a duece, knew his name was Bob, and ID'd him in a newspaper photo". He's up for election Tues. I don't know NJ politics but we'll see. Plus he's divorced so he doesn't have that problem.

Many, many years ago, I worked where he does. After I returned to my major city, I was walking down the street in the main night club district. I had only been back about 6 months. Approaching me from a distance was a couple. As we got closer they began looking more and more familiar until there was no mistaking we all recognized each other. The most pompous and sanctimonious member of that most elite American Club of 100 was with one of his staffers 20-25 years his junior. They wanted no part of eye contact. But, I couldn't resist and said Hello and kept walking. I am sure he was shitting bricks for weeks thinking I was going to drop a dime, but that's not my style. Never told anyone that knew him or could hurt him even though it would have been sweet, he was the type of hypocrite you'd love to expose. Even though he was from a distant state, why would you be so dumb to be walking on a major city nite club street.

When you are in that business and make speeches of the high and mighty, you can't do it. Well maybe, JFK had alot of fun and nobody seemed to care too much, maybe a different media then. I know another one who was working at my old place who eventually got to JFK's house (you figure it out) got caught in his tinted window Lincoln in their exclusive garage. But there I was a very young person driving into the garage with my boss just as the dust was settling but shit was going on and it didn't takemy boss long to get the skinny from security. That story eventually leaked out in a book after the guy caught with his dick hanging out died. And it was remarkably accurate, at least to the parts that I saw.

General David Petraeus is the latest political figure to crash and burn after an affair with his biographer hit the press. One thing about being an "average Joe" is that no one really cares about your personal life. Even less if your single.

I just saw a photo of the Mrs. from his CIA swearing in ceremony. Adds some understanding. When you are the Director of the CIA, the fear of blackmail/security becomes an issue. CIA is not military, but believe it or not even in the military you can be court martialed for an extra marital affair. She,the other woman, a West Point Grad herself, was his biographer, out of the military but travelled with him all over shit hole middle east, is now under FBI investigation for trying to access his email. Just like on the same theme the Secret Service agents in Colombia became a security issue. Maybe a stretch to think these working guys would or even could divulge something to a hooker that could endanger POTUS, but not that much to expect from good, good men with super jobs most guys would die to have and who know the rules. Testosterone is powerful, mind numbing.

Had it leaked, which no doubt Petraeus knew was coming, how long would it have taken the President to ask for his resignation? But they both knew awhile ago this was coming soon and decided let's wait until after Nov 5th. The Mrs had enough of whatever you want to call it not to throw a hand grenade. Maybe because she has a major government job in Consumer Affairs or something like that, but she's like 2nd in command.

But even when National Security is not involved, many politicos over the years had to bite it because they played around. SC Gov Mark Sanford; Elliot Spitzer, the Atty General in NY and running for Gov; Rudy Giuliani's love affair knocked him out of the Presidential race; VA Sen.Chuck Robb; WV Gov Bob Wise; Newt Gingrich; remember Sen Gary Hart from CO running for president; Sen John Ensign from Nevada; Louisiana Sen David Vitter; Detroit Mayor Kilpatrick; Idaho Sen Larry Craig (though his was a homo thing); Clinton with Monica led to his impeachment; Sen John Edwards from N.Carolina got indicted (he beat it) for having donors give her $$ to keep quiet about her pg. I think if one tried they could compile a tel book size list of major or minor public officials who shot themselves in the foot over sex. Testosterone.

In different times when there was no "media" as we know it today, Jefferson has his slave chick, fast forward over another 1,000 to where Gen. Eisenhower had what's her name driving his jeep, Gen. McCarthur had what's her name, FDR had what's her name, his wife had what's her name, JFK had a phonebook.

And testosterone problems are not isolated to the US. The next King of England falling over that dopey looking/talking wench and blowing off you know who. In Italy, Prime Minister Buscioni or however you spell his name--just got 4 years (now on appeal) for taxes but no doubt the years and years of provable stories of him mongering with teenies didn't help.

Is it only human or shameful? Only human in my book but a different guage when you hold a public office. Double standard? Yep.

Bottom line, the US of A is losing one of it's, historically speaking, greatest public servants in this General. But he wasn't going to last forever. If Romney won he most likely would have been gone regardless--at least as head of the CIA--but he wasn't going bank into uniform at that stage of his career.

And don't cry for him now anyway, he will be making millions in the private sector where his life won't be subject to the scrutiny we impose on our public officials. She will divorce him and lucky for him it'll before he makes the big $$. She'll get a part of what they have and a part his government pension, and he'll be sitting there crying in his beer--until the next bank satement comes showing deposits from 15 different major corp boards he'll be on. The international security services office he will open after the divorce will make $20 million the first year. How many of us can say that was our divorce outcome?
