The reasons can be many, if for a moment you take the cost out of the equation. Firstly MP sessions take place at the MP as oppossed to in your room. Unless you set something up with an MP girl to meet you at ur place, its gonna happen there and you might have to wait a few rounds for the girl you want to not be busy.

And depending on ur vibe with an indy, it certainly takes place in your room and more at a time when you want. So you have your music, your surroundings, party favors etc.. I'm not going to list my resume over and over like Scuba, but I'm a fluent spanish speaker so I gravitate more towards the indy's because it seems a little more normal instead of point and shoot. You too will develop a preference over time. But again if you can really talk to them, (not just p4p monger lingo) then its a whole diff situation beyond the advice or experiences you will hear from here.
