Il Ritorno lacks in spotty service
+100 about the spotty service. At least I
think that's what you meant.
Went there for the first time ever this part Saturday night with my novia and a CRT brother. To make a long story short, after an incident with our server I had to call over the restaurant manager to address our server's lack of manners.
I spent a good while discussing with (actually, lecturing) the manager Antonio how our particular waiter needed a refresher course on being respectful to his customers.
Antonio got it, agreed with me, apologized profusely to us and particularly my novia, and
comped us part of the check to make up for what happened.I
may return for the food but not for the service.

Ah, so that's why the bill was so reasonable

(You owe me $10

)
The "incident" could have easily been avoided by the water - being in sales, I learned 2 things (well actually a few more than 2

) but near the top is you never argue with a customer, and if you do, 100% of the time <sorry ID

> you come out poorly.
Another fact is the novia of MH is a really nice person, and on a scale of 1 - 10, a true 15 -
she is absolutely beautiful, one of the prettiest girls I have ever met (I'm being 100% serious here - she is stunning, really

) She should model for "Tica of the Month" - even though she's not a "tica"
not to put too fine a point on it......
Had a great time at dinner and echo the comments that the place is excellent; reasonable prices, strongly recommended, short cab ride from the gulch - also Bruce, the owner of the cigar place at HLH is another great source for recommending good places to eat - more about him and the cigar shop in another post to come soon!
