Been thinking about going to CR for a couple of years, haven't been able to get it together until now.

Got a couple questions that I can't find a ready answer to.

1). Apparently HDR has a $10 joiner (extra guest fee). How is this paid, when I bring the girl up, or at checkout, or ??

2) How does the $35 dollar chica deal work at HLH? Obviously, I would have to stay at HLH, I assume. Do I need to buy VIP membership here to get that, or is that for everyone? Is this like a bar fine type of deal, or is it all-inclusive? It just seems a bit strange, what do the girls get out of it?

Any info appreciated, hopefully will be there the weekend before turkey day if all goes according to plan..

At HDR you pay the front desk $10 before you take the girl up to your room. I think it is $12 now.

At HLH if you stay there you pay $35/ hour for any girl you take to your room. You pay $10 at the bar before you take her to your room and then you give her the balance $25 after your session. You need not be a VIP. Since she gets only $25 expect requests for tips (propina).

If you stay at HLH you get a discounted price on the room and also a 10% discount on your drinks and food if you pay cash if you become a VIP member. The $39 is paid for in the discounts if you stay about 3 days.
You should do that if you stay there.

This is a very controversial issue on this board. People have various opinions and attitudes. Also at HDR most girls want $60 to $100 and propina and you pay $12 for the room.

I personally do the following at HLH:

I plan to give her $10 just because I think $25/hour is really low.

If she is good I give her $20.

If she is excellent or someone i know well I give her $30 and maybe more or little gifts.

As we do everywhere, guys over tipping has affected the expectations at most gringo oriented MP's - Tico's - native Costa Rican males - almost never tip; not part of their culuture - and girls, especially newer ones in the MP's, don't expect it. They also don't in tico MP's

If you want to give her $10, the world is not going to end, but it really depends on her, her attitude, and if she is a real PITA begging for tips - if she is licking your pin, and asks for a tip, its a shitty time to do so - IMO -

In places like the DelRey, the price you negociate is the price, although guys might negociate $60, with a $20 tip for good service - just do not pay in advance, negociate what you want in advance, and if she changes the terms, or is a cunt or in anyway proves "better in the bar than in the cama <bed>" send her packing - some are famous for this, especially w/ newbi's - if she insists, you can, like Cuba Goding says "Show her the money" but it should not change hands until you are finished - also, she has to turn the cell phone off, and she is not there to watch cartoons

Also, consider joing CRT as a paid member - you will qualify for a number of discounts; well worth it, as well as support the board - also consider staying at a different place than the Hotel Del Rey - you are only charged the fee if you are staying there - not sure from reading your post if you realize that - its a bar and hotel, not a massage parlor or a whore house - there is also no fee to "take a girl out" of the place; all the girls are indies Not like in Asia where "bar fines" are the norm.

Trust me; while the girls are mostly not fluent in english, you can certainly get your point across - they know what you want; and if they waited for guys with even a cursory fluency in Spanish, they would be waiting a long time, if you take my point
